  1. Just tried a pack of the Zoom trick worms that I have had sitting around for months. The are watermelon red flake. They worked pretty good just on a texas rig and letting them sink and swim.
  2. Braid is great for fishing in heavy cover. Down here in FL, we have thick hydrilla and kissimmee grass. It helps to pull fish out of it. I have 2 rigs that have braid. My jig rod and my frog rod. Others have either 12# or 20# YoZuri hybrid.
  3. You need to order yourself some YoZuri. That stuff is the bomb.
  4. I wish I could work for them. Imagine the possibilities?. Those Chronarchs are great. I got to finally use mine at the last tourney I fished. They are very nice and smooth. Great with the custom handle I have on it. (If inteested I will PM you the site for them. Mae by a friend of mine, who is also on this site) Be easy brother, nice to see you enjoying the finer things in life, LOL.
  5. $200 for a spinning reel? You cray cray.
  6. A nice MH Abu Veritas or Vendetta will do you just fine for just about anything.
  7. Straight braid buddy. No need for a leader unless you are in clear water, and if you are, you really dont need braid. Tie it staright to the lure, no problem.
  8. I like speed, si I fish E7, I wouldnt go any slower than E6. Go MH on the rod.
  9. See, its already soaking in, you might just be ready to join the club, LOL.
  10. dont waste your money, get YoZuri.
  11. Dont the bearings do the spinning? I have never noticed a distance problem. When Im done, my reels cast smoother and farther.
  12. Good idea, hell, even the Abu Veritas or Vendetta is nice.
  13. I use a little bit of grease on the spool shaft. Dont know if it helps, but never failed me yet. My SHIMANOS cast soo smooth after I clean them out myself and lube it my way. PS-notice the capitol letters all the way?LOL.
  14. Im here, and I still just dont get it, LOL.
  15. I will send you the application,LOL.
  16. Sorry, cant do it. Join the rest of us tards who fish SHIMANO. Buyer beware, its a bad drug to get hooked on! Seriously though, its a great reel. Be it that its an refind Curado, its a must have for the arsenal.
  17. My friend and I won the FireFighter Tourney at Lake Toho today. We won with over 12#s, and a tough day dodging storms. Not bad for first timers on that lake. Gambler EZ, BPS Humping Toad, and Zoom Lizards came through out there. A special thanks to Mike Slipy, well.....you know why.
  18. Topwater baits are the best. Run a soft plastic frog on the surface near the shoreline. You will see the torpedo wake coming, then the strike, then hold on to the ride.
  19. YoZuri. Stong as he!!, holds up to these Snakeheads.
  20. You are the man, thank you soo much.
  21. Anybody have the address for City Boat Ramp at Lake Toho, or could tell me the name of the street its on? Trying to Google Map it so I know how to get there. Or can you give me directions from coming from Ft Lauderdale on the Turnpike?
  22. Just get some tougher line, catch them bad boys, and eat them. Good stuff right there.
