Looking For Solutions
I always report these kind of people to the authorities. Most of the time down here, these people dont have fishing licenses and dont care about the environment as a whole. Its fun to watch them get in trouble for trying to take fish with no license. Pay that fine sucker!

Stuck To Shimano
Ive tried them all boys, with the exception of a Steez (would never pay that much for a reel). Shimano is proof that you dont need 20 bearings to outperform the competition. My first baitcaster was a Shimano CU200 when I was 11, and Im 30 now, and still the perfect balance of $ and quality.

Stuck To Shimano
Well its official, all my reels have been traded in. As I had an assortment of Abu, BPS, Shimano, etc, I went back to my solid Shimano routes. Just got the Chronarch 200E7. Now its just Curado 200E7, 50E, Citica 200G6, Chronarch 200E7, and later will add the Chronarch 50 E to the list. Downsized to what always worked best for me. Simplified and functional.

Sweet. I would take a nice H22 for my 94 Accord

Braid Line Snap
Yeah, dont use 10# braid. That stuff is made to be used on a very light spinning set up. The point of braid is to be super strong. With a baitcaster you want to stick to a similar diameter that you would use if it was mono or fluoro. So that being said you need to use a 50# or 65#. You wont have to worry about line snapping, or the line digging in on itself when setting the hook.

I was just comparing their Jap cars vs our Jap cars. They get all the faster versions.

How Many Rods Do You Carry?
I only need 4. 1) Shimano Curado 50E, 12# Yozuri for open area plastics. 2) Shimano Curado E7, 65# Spiderwire, heavy cover plastics. 3) Shimano Citica G6, 17# Mono, Spook. 4) Revo SX, 65# Spiderwire, jiggin.

Bps Pq Sales......
Well, they have weird sales throughout the year, but still its only $99.95. Its just a $20 difference, not like its 1/2 off.

Jigs And Spinner Bait
As far as jigs go, I use a Gambler 1/2 or 3/4 oz in blue/black, and an Gambler Ugly Otter trailer.

Donations For Breast Cancer Snakehead Tourney.
No companies that are on this site would like to donate? Here is your chance to get your products advertised and name on our sponser board. Most local fisherman would be able to see your products and get a chance to use them when raffled off.

Just so you know, they still died by the club.

Snakeheads Today
Diggy, the only one released was a small one about 12 inches in hopes he will be bass food. The other 5 are fish fry.

Thinking About Getting A Bait Caster...
Dont go cheap, get something that is going to help you learn better. A quality reel will perform better than a Walmart special. I would suggest a Citica to start. Shimano brakes are the best. Just set 2 or 3 and use the spool tension knob to fine tune it. I live by Shimano, they are made to last. As far as rods, there are many companies trying to market the budget rods. Berkley Lightning Shock for around $40. Shimano Sellus for about $50. As for the line, the best bang for the buck is YoZuri hybrid. Strong stuff, handles very good, and very affordable. So you are aware the I practice what I preach, I use all of the above mentioned, and never look back.

Snakeheads Today
BassHunter and I went out today for a few hours. Floated around in the Coconut Creek area off of the C-14, and caught a fair amount of Snakeheads. The one in the picture was the big one of the day at 8 lbs. Gave my 200E7 a workout today, and Im out of frogs. The E7 mounted on the Sellus rod performed very well, a good match.
