Curado 200e7 spooled it already, and filled with 150 yrds of 30# sufix braid -performance braid-

Theyre just as smooth as curados, but you should definatley keep it its an excellent reel. especially gettig minr for 106$, although i would never pay the full 270$ retail price for it.

How long of a flouro leader should I tie on my braid, I have heard many different lengths, I was thinking an 8-10 ft leader.

Would I be able to spool my reel with braided line now (**even thought I will not be fishing probably until mid March**) without it effecting the braided line in any way as far as memory, etc? Or will the line be fine on the reel? -thanks

any way you can soak them over night? thats what i had to do to polish my bearings, because they wouldnt come out, after a good ws 40 soak it should pop out a little easier. Dont try to hard and break anything. lol

The winch is 165$, the premier is 190$, the Curados are 144$, the exo is 194$, the lews is 75$

I'm on a teter toter with these 2. Abu Garcia Revo winch 5.4:1 or Curado 200e5, will be used alot for deep cranking.(take into consideration the large handle on the revo) I'm a shimano guy and have premier.. I so far like it but you gotta love Shimanos.. I'm in a toss up with these 2.

I just got an 8' Extra-Extra Heavy Carrot stix gold for Alabama Rigging (fully rigged) and punching, it's rated "Xtra-fast taper" do you think an X-fast taper is suitable for throwing an alabama rig (about 2.5 oz. fully rigged, or more) -thanks

Hi all. Is it positive, negative, or neutral to loosen drag completely on casting reel during the winter? Some one told me it was good to loosen the drag because having it tight all winter has a negative effect on the reels, is that true? -thanks! (would appreciate any other winter line and reel storage)
