I do but I think it would be better to spend the extra money on something like a bass raider. On a tube you don't want to go far because the kick back is awful. I want to get a bass raider with a trolling motor, it would be way better no kicking and can take way more rods.

Tension. I personally never use the magnets though. My one reel that has them I really just don't like, I prefer my Shimanos which don't have magnets.

The G series is fine. People only say its bad because they compare it the the E series but it is a different reel. You could compare E series Chronarch to the E series Curado.

I would get the citica but that is only because I really like Shimano.

Split grip for casting, I love my Phenix recon and my Shimano crucial. Full grip for spinning.

Still no fish for me this year. Going to the Fred Hall fishing and boat show tomorrow and will hopefully pick up a new rod. Maybe fishing after the show. I feel bad for all you non Californians that don't get to go to this amazing show.

I figured it out I didn't know I had to turn it.

Got my revo stx today and after casting in the yard I like my curados better but we will see what I like better after I fish with it.

So I just got my revo stx and I cannot figure out how to get the side plate off. Yes I loosened then screw and I cannot get it. Am I missing something or is it just really hard to get off?

So far it works great. I have taken it out to the saltwater a few times and a few lakes and it works great. But if you want to sit out of the water then it won't work for you because it's just one of the cloth seats that's in the water.

I have never fished flouro but I think people use it because it's harder to see, less stretch then mono, and not as much memory.

I am just wondering what you guys like to use as backing for braid.

Does it come with the glue? If not what glue would I use?

I don't think I could trust that. I was thinking of making a rod holder out of pvc like I have seen before but I just don't know how to attach it to the tube.

Ordered the stx I hope I'm not disappointed.
