I dont think bass fisherman are athletes. And according to this definition they arent. Fisherman dont possess above average physical skill. Anglers possess more of a mental skill. I do believe fishing is a sport though.

Yeah, our lake was starting to get drained and to get the boat back on the trailer we accidentaly went off of the boat ramp. Unfortunatly i have 2 wheel drive. Luckily there was a guy that had a truck and we had a tow rope so he pulled us out. SO, my advice is you better have 4 wheel drive and do not back into the mud or too deep.

Wow those electric motors were developed by the navy and they have the thrust equivalent to 9hp gas outboard. Dang. But I dont have enough money.

Today I was fishing my local lake and I saw a bass about 2lbs in about a foot deep water. The water was slightly murky. He would get right next to a patch of weeds. How would you go about catching this fish?

I am probably not going to buy the electric motor any more because the tm only lake i live on allows people to use motors if you live on the lake. I know people that live on the lake and they said they would give me their sticker so i could use the gas motor.

I talked to my dad about it and he agreed to sell the motor. i was looking on the internet at trolling motors and such and then I saw the 3hp briggs and stratton 150lb of thrust electric outboard. With all the batteries I will need, it will probably cost $2200. I was thinkin to do that and just suffer this year with my 40lb tm. Plus if I get that motor off of the boat it will probably go a little faster. Does anyone have this electric outboard or the minn kota version (which is a lot more expensive)?

I always fish with a trailer when fishing for LM. When I fish for sm it depends on the skirt if i use a trailer or not.

I agree. I too get annoyed. This can confuse anglers about the differences and then everyone starts calling them the same thing because they think it is the same thing.

I wouldnt pay $40 for a long sleeve shirt even if it said low budget hookers. I would prefer a short sleeved $25 or less shirt.
