Srry Avid, I used it the first time so i wouldnt use ne thing worse. And then I quoted every one else that was quoting me. But NE way, I agree with LBH and MGMoore. I understand the fines for avid fishermen (no pun intended) but taking someone's car is crazy. Like Morre said it is just fishing.

First off, I obeyed the law and got my fishing license as soon as I turned 16, so I would not be breaking the law. I just think the fine for fishing when you do it 1 time a year is stupid. At this lake, you cannot buy a fishing license here. You have to drive 20 minutes the other way to go to walmart. I look good in anything I wear.

It worked pretty good. Next time i think i am gonna use a little more softener and maby a tad bit ess salt. I needed a little more wiggle. But it was a fot better than what i was doing.

Luckily, I have a fishing license but a kid at school who rarely fishes was caught at a public lake without one. The ranger gave him a ticket. I was wondering if anyone else has been caught without one or knows how much the fine is? IMOI think it is stupid that people who fish once a year for bluegill (and arent gonna catch anything) have to pay a fine.

I would get Senkos and swim blades or chatterbaits if they have them.

How much salt should I add compared to the amount of plastic when pouring?

No, I dont like tiki sticks at all. To put it simply, I have fished tiki sticks for hours and never caught a thing. I fished the senko for about a minute and caught a nice keeper.

Yup, I pretty much found out all of this stuff today. But I did add softner after i put salt in (but i didnt know this). And I was figuring that it popped because of water boiling at 212. Luckily i just had the spoon over the plastic and some water dropped in so i never actually put it in. Another thing I remembered I forgot was I didnt shake the plastic bottle and everything had settled. O well, I am getting better. I have already learned a lot in 2 days of pouring. Hopefully, I get to test some of them out on the water tomorrow!!

I just started pouring soft plastics. I added the softener to the plastic and it came out gooy and snotty. I was wondering if this was because I added way tooo much softener or i didn't heat it high enough?? Also I heated some without softener too high and it melted my plastic spoon, so I carved my name in it. One more thing i did wrong today (other than wake up at 8:25 when school starts at 8:30 and forget we had a test first period) I had a little cold water on the spoon and when i put it back in everything started poppin and stuff but I knew I shouldnt have done that.

My dad does not like to fish but he likes to ride in my boat and sip on some "daddy yoohoo". Every time we go he brings his video camera. I dont know why, but i have never caught a fish when i bring him on my boat (about 10 times). So I dont have any footage of catching a fish... yet.

I was on the lake for 10 hours last week and didnt put on any sunblock except on my neck with like 2 hours to go. My arms got extremely dark, unfortunately i was wearing a shirt so now i have the world's best farmer's tan.

Only fish Ive eaten that i caught was a Ausable River SM.

It is probably illegal to move fish to different bodies of water there too as it is in most states. However, you might be able to get a permit or something to be able to do it. Or just pay the money for your own stocking.

I made my own over the weekend and i was rushed so it didnt go very great. But im gonna try again soon now that i know how to do it.

Are there any stores that sell molds for soft plastics?? I am not talking about like internet or catalog, an actuall store that carries any. I got my del mart kit with everything except the mold (which will come later) and i wanna use it right now. THX

I too ump, great and easy money!! VERY easy money and a lot of it.

Im 16 and have been working as an umpire for about a month. I am loving it. With my first paycheck, I bought the del-mart worm making kit and a bunch of other fishing stuff. Its not so bad. Each week I schedule my hours based on weather reports for the week and moon phases and all that good stuff for fishing. Its not that bad and especially for the money.
