hi Guys! this year i were with my brother on vacation in maine in june. We fly to boston an rented there a car. Our next stop were the bass pro shop in foxborough,there we bought the hole store and know we ready to catch the big one. our first stop was on the moose pond were we caught our first pickerel and our first largemouth.it was much fun,but the rivers have high-water and the temperature was falling down and so it was very difficult to get a lot of bass on our hooks. On bar habor we fished in the long pond and there we caught our first smallies over 40cm(16 inches). On our fishing trip we fished in streams,lakes and ponds an we caught a lot of small broke trouts, pickerels, smallmouthbass, largemouth bass and some big crappies. the biggest bass were over 55cm 23 inches. The state Maine is so beautiful and we saw a lot of animals (some moose,turtles,dears,eagles ...) I love the USA and i am sure that i will travel again to maine or a other state.

Hi guys! this are some of my biggest catfish from italy. The big mom was 227cm and have a weight over 170 pounds. The smaller two fish have 219cm and 180 cm. it made lot of fun to catch this giant fish. lg Oliver

Thx for your help,because it isn't very easy to plan a trip in a country with soooo many rivers, lakes and ponds. my Brother and i planed to fish from the bank,but we want to charter ones or twice a boat for fishing. And maybe we hire a quide for fishing on stripers. In which distrikt do you live in maine? Lg oli

I caught my first smallie in the Central Park in the turtel pond Last year and since this time i was infectedt and so i fly this Year back to the USA to catch some bass. Lg Oliver

What season is the best for bass in maine,is the spring or the early summer(may) a good time?And what Kind of baits you take? Are the fish stands in the deep or at the surface to this time? Lg Oliver

Hi guys! I'm from Vienna and i make with my brother a fishingtrip to Maine in may,but we don't know where we have do start, because in Maine are soooo many river, ponds and lakes. We want to catch bass, but we also like muskie,salmon,trout and perhaps stripers. Wie stay 10days in the USA and wie arrieved in Boston and want to start our trip there. it will be great if you can help me and give some tips. Hi Guys! I´m Oliver from the capital vienna in Austria. I´m 27 years old and liked to go fishing since 20 years. I caught my first smallmouth and largmouth bass last year in New York and it was much fun. Now i want more and my next vagation is to Main in may 2012.I hope i catch a lot of smallies and largmouth bass. But i don´t know where i have do go...???If you can help me or give me some tips it will be great. I hope it will be a nice time here in this forum with nice guys and interesting treads. lg Oliver
