I caught with my brother some good perch this year. Here some pics from the perch.

We want come back in one or two years and then we try cobbossecontee lake I know this lake,i read a lot of reports.There are huge pike into the lake too. Cape cod is nice,but is it good for fishing? Lg

it s a good movie with a lot of fish, you have to watch it there are a lot of walleys, bass and catfish

we were the first time in Maine, so we have to unstinting a lot of time for finding a good water,because there too many streams,lakes,ponds and brooks in maine. But when we found one good water we caught a lot of bass. For example:Long pond in Bar habor we caught about 15bass together,not so much but it was fun. In one of the stream at the moosehead lake we caught (on our best best day )over 18bass.

We caught the most fish with worms or lizzards on wackystyle. Some from the guys like also our spinnerbaits and swimming crankbaits.

it´s true,the flathead looks like the european cat, but only the fin is not the same. how big get this fish?live the flatheads in the whole usa or only in the south?it looks like the fish from the film "grumpier old man" with jack lemon and walter matthau I use also a heavy braided line 0,55mm with a lifting capacity over 140pounds. And its more than a fight with this fish,your muscle hurts and you feel every bone in your body its great.They are very strong and the river make with his flow the fight harder.

i caught them with livebaits,small carps(1-2 pounds) in 1-2meters depth. My rod is a Rhino bigfish 3 meters and my reel a penn spinnfisher 950.I don´t know the usa dimensional unit.
