Hi guys, In the france there are 8 hydropower stations without a fish ladder and so the atantic salmon can´t swim up the river rhein. 100 years ago the river rhein was the most productive salmon river in europe with over 1 million salmon a year. the swam from the coast till the swiss,thats a very long way. And now the wwf want to make this hydropower stations passable for the salmon, but this is the decision by the french gouverment. So we have to support this intention. i changed most of my hooks with very good owner, camakatsu and other brands.But pikes you can easy loose, because they shaking often the hook away. Trout the same.

I was in honeymoon with my wife the last three weeks in the west of the USA. It was so great and we enjoyed it a lot. And it was a big luck that the government shutdown was only three days before going back home. We only can't see the prison alcatraz. My wife let me go a web days fishing and so i caught some rainbows, some bass and my first salmon. It Was really great and i love the whole usa. I hope i can come back in the next time.

I'm on the roadtrip from salt lake city over las vegas to san francisco and i want to fish in rivers for salmon. For bass i want to try it in the lakes and ponds. I'm a only artificial lure fisher but not with the fly. Lg oliver
