  1. I will keep chugging away...just don't know where they are!
  2. I am so ready for some topwater fish, but my lakes are finishing up the spawn and I cant get bit on topwaters. Does anyone else have this issue? What is your experience? When does it start for you?
  3. And he said I caught all my fish on this Livingston lure, oh its the best its the best, then later came back and said, ok it was a rapala, my Livingston is still a prototype....Nice image he portrays, or trys to after that huge blunder on stage in front of a national audience. They use what they can to catch fish, and then tell you what their sponsors want you to hear.
  4. Stock them in other ponds if you have access. Great way to meet a farm owner! Bass and bluegill eat insects including ticks off the cattle when they submerge themselves, and gives you a different place to fish as well.
  5. I LOVE LIZARD FISHING. No matter where or when, its my #1 confidence bait.
  6. Throw a white swimjig with a small 4inch money minnow on it. It will slow the swim even more, and you will have a bit of action.
  7. I Second that. Amazing. Love to watch this on tv and even the EXTENDED CAST. I got money off by entering BSSN because I am a subscriber. Even without the discount the EXTENDED CAST is amazing coverage and more tips than you can remember!
  8. I have never used these. I got one for christmas and I will cast a few times. I see mixed reviews both online and in print. Interested to see how they work in small ponds that i frequent. Looking forward to input on this post!
  9. I think thats part of the "UNDER NEW OWNERS" I mentioned... I just got my copy in the mail today... I have skimmed it twice, getting ready to go to the throne and do some reading. Looks better than ever IMO.
  10. Took my wife fishing, and she outfished me...Ill never make that mistake again...
  11. I read on Bassin' Facebook page they are under new ownership. A new mag will be mailed and hit newsstands I think they said at the first of the month. Will be interesting to see if they come back to the quality it used to be. I like state wildlife and fish magazines, texas game and fish here.
