  1. Went to Lake Fairview today. Caught 3 babies on Flukes near pads. Saw lots of beds and bait, couldn't find any big fish
  2. I fished Toho Sat. & Sun. Caught maybe 10, nothing big. There were a few 7+ pounders at the weigh-in. Kissimmee & Istokpoga are good choices. Personally, I'd get a guide and go to Stick Marsh.
  3. Fished in a tournament on Toho Sat. I caught a few with Senko's and flipped up a couple on a craw. My partner caught a nice one on a spinner bait.
  4. So, I'm probably stuck with my Subaru Outback for a while as my towing vehicle. It has a two rating of 2500 lbs. What's the best boat I could get that I could tow?
  5. Anybody tried these? Anybody know where to buy them?
  6. I use it for everything that doesn't get braid.
  7. Instead of "parties," they should have little tournaments.
  8. Thanks for the replies. If I decided to "gut it out" and try a jerkbait, is there a good "rookie" one that I should buy?
  9. It's cold and I'll be fishing some clear water. I know the standard advice is to throw a jerkbait, but I have ZERO confidence in them. I don't know why, but I never get a bite. I've tried watching people, watching videos, etc. No luck. So, rather than bang my head against the wall, what should I be doing as a co-angler when my boater is jerkbaiting and I want to go to Plan B? TS
  10. Dobyn's rods. I'm totally spoiled now. Especially at Ron's prices
  11. Doc Irv made me some....
  12. I use mine as a co-angler. I love it, but it's right up to the edge of "too big." No complaints from my boaters yet, but I won't be surprised if it happens.
  13. Is there any difference between the paintball and fishing masks?
  14. After a few rough outings, I've decided to try to hire a "coach" that can help me improve my technique. Anyone know a pro or a guide near Orlando that you'd recommend?
