I'm looking at getting this back over the winter to replace my old one I'm looking at the magnum sized bag does anyone have experience with this bag an also I fish as a non boater to so I don't want it to be to big

almost 50% off and the bag is incredible. i'm not a fan of the wide tackle bags. this one is only a few inches on each side wider than a 3700 plano box and it fits 7 3700 full size boxes straight up and down and is incredibly easy to carry due to it being taller than wider.

Got one, nice bag, but way too heavy to be tottin around if you pack it the way I do. Keep it lightly packed and it should be fine.(nice string of mallard, hope there's no susies)

It would just be used to from a truck to the boat I'm not to worried bout weight just have limited space to work with as a Co angler an don't wanna go to big

I use mine as a co-angler.  I love it, but it's right up to the edge of "too big."  No complaints from my boaters yet, but I won't be surprised if it happens.

My last setup was I had bag that had 4 3700 boxes an I had a small bag that kept my plastics an hooks an weights in was trying to decide from two bags or just one big bag

But from all the reviews I read the magnum bag will hold a ton of stuff

I have that exact bag and it is way to big to sit on the co-angler side of the boat. When on my father in law's boat there is barely enough room to sit while running.   I would probably stick with the large to give you some extra room. It still holds 6 boxes and the pockets hold a ton of stuff.

Wish I could see them in person just don't have a cabelas close to me

I used this bag for a season as a co-angler a few years ago, then went to one that was a little smaller.  My last set up was 2 bags.   One I would velcro to the seat post on the back deck, the other one would get thrown underneath the console.   It just had soft plastics and odds and ends that I didn't mind if it got stepped on.  Getting your co-angler gear down is a challenge.   I would switch it up nearly every tournament.  If you are concerned about getting from your truck to the boat, consider getting a rod bag that holds 6 or 8 rods.  I found mine to be pretty handy.

What's a susie? Couldn't find definition on BR or net....

As a former co-angler, I'll tell you my final setup was a tackle bag just like that --- one box cranks, one box weights/clips/swivels, one box hooks, one box spinners and more cranks ---- then I had a second bag around the same size filled with soft plastics. It worked just fine. Usually brought 4 rods with me.

I try to limit myself to 5 rods an try to select them on the type of fishing I'm doing flipping cranking or having to finese fish

i really like the cabelas bags i can fit all my stuff in there and not have to bring two bags. mine is a little heavy but it's not uncomfortably heavy and it shouldn't be an issue as a non-boater.

I have both the large and magnum. The large is a nice bag,but it only holds 3600 size boxes. I got the magnum back in january(new model). I really like this bag. Offers more storage options than the large or any plano bag. I have multiple size boxes,plus bps finese wraps,works out well.Outside pockets will hold 3600 boxes also.My rain suit fits in compartment under lid,just a all around good bag.

Do u like the 3750 boxes that come with the bag or did u by the back an put 3700 boxes in it

I already had a ton of 36&3700 boxes,worm wraps etc. My bag is a mixture of sizes etc. I have used the bag on many tourneys,and none of the guys i fished with had a issue on space.          As far as the 3750 boxes,i dont care for them personally.

I have the one that holds 12 bags it holds so much tackle good for on a boat but too heavy to shore fish with. It's only about a foot deep and 3 feet wide so it's somewhat small they are very nice bags though

Im thinking about getting the Super Magnum just to have as much space as possible for future tackle. I am going to be co-angling in my first tournament next May and was wondering if I should get the Magnum instead. I definitely don't want to tick my boater off, that would not be a good way to start the day.
