  1. Spam!! I love Spam - fried Spam & eggs, fried Spam with mustard sandwich, Grill Cheese & fried Spam, candied Spam with cherries and pineapple.
  2. "cereal back in the box" :laugh5: A police officer stops a blonde for speeding and asks her very nicely if he could see her license. She replied in a huff, 'I wish you guys would get your act together. Just yesterday you take away my license and then today you expect me to show it to you!
  3. Yes, I'm very familiar with The Joint Commission (TJC), formerly the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) My wife was a unit secretary at our local hospital for many years, and I know they are the fastest way to stress out hospital administrator's there is. I did not know they changed their name to TJC until tonight when I looked up the full name.
  4. No the wink is just sarcasm because this country no longer has the guts to do something like that.
  5. Under the NCAA guidelines, if a brain surgeon molested a patient, would the hospital, staff, and other surgeons be penalized and have their futures jeopardized, and have to undo previously successful surgeries. I am at odds with myself on the NCAA approach to this problem; it's clear they want to send a strong message to everyone, but they are striking innocent bystanders while swinging their whip. Maybe a public lynching on the stadium goal posts of all involved in the cover up would be a better message to send.
  6. X2 He had a morel and professional responsibility to follow through to insure the safety of the kids.
  7. X2 Doing anything less makes him part of the cover up.
  8. X2 I fish the middle Potomac where the water visibility is only about four feet at best so I'm not that worried about color as I am about noise vibrations.
  9. We can armchair quarterback this until doomsday, it's impossible to say what we would or could do in a chaotic situation like that, and given the fact you can't carry everywhere. This is kind of like a political or religious discussion. But I am interested to understand the use of the fire exit and propping it open to retrieve his weapons. I'll have to check our local theater, but aren't the exits alarmed to prevent people from sneaking their friends into a movie
  10. Correct... he's gone over this...... (='_'=) post #19 "now, in this picture there are 2 yellow wires marked with a red circle.... one of them is the one seen on the upper picture, the one on the switch.. the other one goes to the harness... with the multimeter, we managed to know that this other yellow wire is the one that feeds the starter... so, if i hook the two yellow wires together and turn the key, the starter will receive power... however, the 2 yellow wires have female connectors, so im not sure they were hooked directly... i think i can replace one of the connectors with a male, and match them, as i already know this will work.... however im not sure if im missing something...."
  11. X2 For me it felt very natural to go LH, I've never thought about going back to RH. If you look around, I think you'll see everyone using LH on spinning reels where they can choose the setup themselves. BTW, I'm right handed.
  12. X2 I'm fairly conservative with my wardrobe so my "Bright" colors are not that striking.
  13. As (='_'=) said above the boats electrical system has been reworked over the years... So all bets are off as to how things are wired; however, the boat did run with the current set up before the restoration work began.
  14. Unfortunately I can imagine airport security style entry and alarmed fire exits in theaters and other similar entertainment centers in the near future as a knee-jerk reaction to this event. My local bank just installed a double door personnel trap with metal detectors to increase security; if you set off the metal detector you have to empty your pockets or leave the building. I would also expect the gun lobbyist will maintain a low profile for a while. But I agree that someone pulling out another gun could have only made things worse with that many other people around. A well meaning citizen could do more harm than good in a chaotic environment as described in the theater.
  15. And your asking for it - "Shoot Me $12" LOL Maybe you'd get a better response if you dropped your price $2..... IL ??...... Isn't that where all those Gangsters had those Tommy Guns???
  16. LOL, Sam I have some bottom land I'd like to sell you.
  17. OMG, I really don't know how to take this one... On one hand if that's a company T-shirt - I like the way they think; but on the other hand it's still some guy's butt crack. P.S. How many shots do I get for $12.00?
  18. LOL,LOL
  19. Well here it is 02:32 AM and I'm still up, went to bed at 11:00 pm and just lay there. Last night I got no sleep at all. This has been going on like this for many months, the Doc gave me Ambian CR to help me sleep and it worked for a short while, now nothing I need help, I'm like a zombie during the day. I need to jump start my body clock. Doc thinks it could be stress???? Stress - WTH I'm retired, what stress?
  20. LOL, Scorcher ! What did you do??? (that a rhetorical question, don't answer) Your one of the last persons I would have guessed would earn points. Just goes to show you can't tell a book by it's cover - just kidding
  21. LOL,,, Don't ask........ The Mods and members I met at Guntersville this year are a great bunch of guys and gals, I look forward to repeating the opportunity again next year,,,, if they'll let me
  22. We'll be here if you need us. As you've put so much time and effort into your boat I would suggest you order the correct Johnson manual for your motor before you start the rewiring, it will give you the correct wiring info and hopefully save you some frustration and electrical damage to your motor. Good luck and good fishing.
  23. A neutral switch is a safety device built into the gear shift system to prevent the engine from starting while in gear; it's required on all boats over a certain horse power. Given the age and unknown history of you boat I think it's safe to say all bets are off concerning the wiring. So connect the two yellow wires together if that operates the starter. The diagrams should give you some idea of how things should be wired, and your ahead of the game in that you know the boat ran before you started. I think your friend that disconnected everything owes you some beers
