  3. First - I think I now understand the name L-o-n-g Mike Second - Mike, you think Glenn would have a problem with me placing BR stickers on my Mercury??
  4. Since I got my boat (used) in 09, I've been using the marine formula sta-bil every time I fill up at the end of a fishing day. I've been reading about the problems with Ethanol and boats, but this is my first encounter with the effects.
  5. I know this is an old thread, but I just encountered the problem, and, just found this thread. This is the same thing I found in my 2003 Mercury 150 EFI. I thought I was seeing bits of varnish in the fuel system, but it turned out to be plastic Richard at Mare Inc. in Thurmont, Md. explained it all to me today after I just happened to mention seeing varnish in the fuel line. And this afternoon I check my email and find BoatUS is reporting on April 2, 2012 EPA has taken the next step to putting E15 on the street I've got a 2003 Ranger 185VS, am I looking at changing out my plastic fuel tank, and black rubber fuel lines as well??????

  11. I'm hoping for you that the guy only broke the plastic prop insert. @ Simp, check your PM from me.
  12. Around here the police will ask if anyone is hurt, are the cars are drivable, have you exchanged info. If your answers are no, yes, yes,, they wont respond in a timely manor. At one point I was told "you have what I need - move on" What counts is where the impacts are on both vehicles, the rest is "he says - she says"
  13. The Ford should be your first clue
  14. Yes, that's me on the river; can't take the vibration any longer, so my wife knows when I've been out running the river cause it takes me three days to recover from walking around like I've got a pole up my butt. And she still elbows me when I'm checking out other women at the mall, I love the way they're making jeans these days
  15. Oh S%&*, I hope you didn't freeze your son But I wouldn't worry bout the wife, she's probably been saying that for several years at least Sounds like Murphy had fun at your house that night.
  16. LOL,,, You don't know how close you are. I had been thinking about X-mass lights and a 800W DC/AC inverter I have.... But, before last November my wife was harping on me to put some items on my Amazon wish list so family could get me something I'd like for Christmas. So, among other thing, I put some LED tape on there and BIL (brother in-law) came through for me.
  17. Ya, I think I have had spaghetti in there... the white trash bags are mainly for the Snakeheads. It wasn't complicated to do, but getting my tired a,, body under the consoles was another story; I ACHE.... and I don't know how I got so bruised up If you want to know what I used, and how I did it, just PM me.
  18. I just had some fun blinging my boat. Got my tow vehical in the background One of two rear lockers.
  19. We told our children that if they wanted to drive, they had to earn the money to buy their own insurance. That started them on the road to earning their own way, and we never told them how to use the money they made, they both liked the feeling of that Independence and they put themselves through collage with little help from us.
  20. You are dreaming
  21. Although I don't know anyone with money, from some of the articles I've read I believe your correct. They get the money too fast to learn any kind of respect for it, and it's true value. That leads me to believe if I were to "win it big" I'd setup some kind of trust fund that would pay family/friends a specified sum each year based on their judgment and use of the previous years gift, i.e. if they pre-spend - they get less the following year. I'd let the professionals figure out how to design such a plan. I would want to improve someones life, not send them into a debit spiral.
  22. The nice thing about the Lottery, you don't need brains to play or win
  23. Was he trolling for gators????
