My tackle shops only have wild colors, nothing natural

I know these have probably been asked a 100x so sorry. I have a 7 M mod rod that I will throw no deeper than 8 ft cranks. I have no grass in my lakes so it will be brush and rocks on points. So not a fan fluor and want to run mono. My question, what is better line 10 or 12 lb . My reel is 4:7.1 . I am just scared 10 is to weak but want my baits To hit maximum depth. Also the low gear ratio doesn't help does it, just keeps them deep longer

I haven't seem the 7'10 model. Finally picked up the 7 m and it handles dt 6s and bombers that go to 8 ft fine so I feel covered

Do you fish the the same way you fish most ribbon tail worms, I mean I am catching them on ribbon tail T rigged worms, but when I throw the mention and fish them same way nothing. Am i missing somthing on these worms??

Is june bug one of them, hitting the shore tomorrow nite. thinking of topwater spook bait. may a junebug paddle tail or speed worm. maybe a buzzbait, or is that over kill with 2 topwaters. I have black trick worms and senkos aswell. just trying to get some fish, been a hard year

My top water rod used to be carbonlite, great rod, but was feeling the coke yesterday at academy. Nice tod too

want a desired shaky rod. money is kinda issue as this will be my next rod. Was thinking the bps PQ/carbonlite combo for 130 somthing or a smoke rod with some other reel, Maybe a daiwa.

I am a speed freak. and this will make a good pitchen, topwater and frog reel. sure the 1st set will be rittled with problems though

I get that rules are rules, but having a tournament in a area with a rule like that is, well like opening a bar in a town that doesnt allow alcohal.

what is a super duty a lews reel, OR are you saying the PQ is a super duty reel ?

not wanting to spend much, for cranking in the 5 gear range a normal lews speed spool or a PQ, both get good reviews and I did have a 7 gear PQ and loved it before. WIll be going on a 7 cranking h2o rod
