not to hijack this thread but I keep seeing people say 4/0 for 10-12, when I asked this site when I joined, I believe it was; they said 3-4/0 was ok for the 7-.7.5'' in worms and 5-6/0 was good for 10-12. I have been Triging my 7s with 4/0s since last summer, could that be a reason I miss a few usually. is the 4/0 affecting the action of the worm.

My lexa is holding strong. My old aggregate work great and I sold it. Now I have a bad taste with vendettas and veritas. My friends use them fine. I think at the lower level of brands the quantity may out shine the quality. It shouldn't but it does. Then on some there is a string of duds

Green pumpkin, red bug,June bug and black never fail me. Academy had there powerbait on sale last week, so I got a few odd colors to see if I can find a niche

I fish them all and have great hookups none no diff than the other. sure it isn't owner error

I've fished them all extensively, Iobee and the new booyah poppin are great. My new booyah is so DANG soft. I am frog addict and use them all though

I use the sellus 6'8 MHXF worm and jig rod form most of my hard bait topwaters. with a quantum tour 7.1. I am horrid teacher at trying to explain but the above members have done the job. I think that rod excels with the "dog" baits weather Kvd dawg, the one knocker, puppy, spook or the Sammy.

I wonder if the elites that always seem to fall short, how do they make a living, I was told, I haven't looked it up, but only the top 10 make money. I need to find a pay chart. I think it would be cool. Wonder if sponsors will keep paying after there anglers keep showing up in the back. I mean you don't want so&so talking about a product that always falls in the back.

never by PETA, but one place I go there is always 2 old guys walking a dog and telling me about God, I am a Christian so I sometimes talk back, BUT they always lead with the same phrase.. WERE IN MY POST DID I SAY I WAS STARTING AN ARGUMENT. I wasn't soapboxing the people I like either. I think you just wanted to complain about Ike. If you read what I said, I said elite in fishing and selling themselves. the fact you saying "the only reason I think he is good" Did I say he was good. I am sure there is lots of "no-name" (for lack of a better word) that can probably outfish some of the top pros. as for doing research, I was just posting a friendly thread for us to discuss, maybe you need to go back and research my OP. AGAIN let me repeat myself, how many do you think are elite in fishing vs selling themselves and how many do you think are just great fishermen vs elite status

I had a long discussion with a guy at dicks yesterday about bassmaster elite pros. I mean not sure about him but I keep up with it, but not like everyday 24/7 hardcore. SO how many do you think are elites still. I mean we always here about IKE,, kvd, Gman. Paulanuck(sp?), skeet, duckett, clunn, Evers, Aaron Martens even sometimes Ish. Now I know I am leaving some out but it seems a good 25 are really elite compared to the others. Chris lane and cliff Pace IMO haven't been big names until classic win. Timmy Horton, comes to mind when it comes to elites that are a little off. I mean he can out fish me any day but there seems to be so many you never hear of. Just random chat, who do you think are the top weather they win Tournaments or not. who do you think sells themselves in sport the most

hey bro, I am fishing every thing that has a puddle in it, I don't know of any ponds, except the asylum ponds in your neck. hickory for the most part is almost back to its normal color, gun powder is still kinda muddy, the main channel is um a tad bit more stained than usual(nothing to bad to give em this lock jaw) . the lake is down about a ft. last time I went, Lookout is up and castle seems to be normal,

We have staind water and yesterday it wasn't muddy but more darker. I couldn't pay to get bit. I slung everything but a c rig. It was hot as h&ll and ii didn't wanna mess with rigging, plus really didn't have correct gear

d**n those were the day, change the beer with an illegal rolled cigar type plant and that was used, wish I didn't do that, but even though it was bad, it had some sort of Sandlot type mysticism to it. Thank God I grew up though
