SWISwimming While Intoxicated

Watching Shark Week on Discovery. Tonight the researchers are making tiger sharks and other shark breeds into this state by flipping them upside down. Are bass able to experience tonic immobility also if put on their backs while they are in the water?

This one is actually my daughter's. About a year ago my daughter who was 6 at the time and I were on my old canoe. She was still using a spin caster button push. She had a Powerbait minnow on there. She reeled in to cast again and once the lure cleared the water by about 6 inches, a 3 pound bass smashed it. She lifted the rod as she was getting used to hooksets and landed it.

I heard he sponsored a t ball or softball team in TN and has always supported them with that. :-)

Yeah, that's what I thought when I started the thread Sam. You are spot on with all of those. I especially like the taking criticism well. That can be one of the HUGE parts of the pro game. :-)

One of the best comments ever said IMO was about fishing being easy, it was locating them that took skill.

Had a conversation with this guy the other day. He posed the question, "so what makes the pros so special? Fishing is mostly luck anyway." I responded that there is more to it than having money to compete. I think the pros have to have: Dedication both to the sport and research Patience Perseverance Financial stability Just to name a few. I posted a threads at year about why we can or cannot all be pros. This is not the same idea. Just curious as to what traits you feel a pro (meaning the most popular anglers on TV for this thread sake) needs to have to be successful.
