Wow!

So we just had a house built in a nearby town and moved in May 1. It put me about an extra 8 miles from my usual spots. However I just found out today that we live about 5 minutes from a huge river here in NC called Cape Fear River. This 202 mile river has large mouth bass, warmouth,red ears, crappie, gar, and more! So I can load my kayak in there at a 24/7 access port with ease. I usually fish for LMB but I want to land some other fish too there. I wonder if they will all hit the same lures at LMB do??? Also, I can't wait to see my Lowrance pick up readings deeper than the usual pond depths of 3-15 feet. :-)

I actually told someone near me one day, and it worked!!!!

I use a 7:1 ratio. Should I put it on a slower set up like one of my 6:4 ?

So about 20 years for you. Nice! I use artificial 100% of the time. Then you have the newbies that cast a few times their first day on the water or from the bank and land a ten pound lunker. :-/

I've been fishing since December of 2011. My biggest bass to date is 6 pounds 6 ounces. My goal is to get 10.0 or better. :-). Just like the goal of bowling is to shoot a 300 game, bass fishing has this famous milestone. At least it is a start to milestones. You all out there that landed a DD, how long did it take you?

Long story short. Bought one a few months ago. Never used it. Lost so many bass trying to swing them into my kayak. My friend said to always bring it with me, even in the kayak. Took his advise. I haven't lost fish like that anymore. :-)

I just got the two frog trailer hooks. I actually had three in my box!!! I have them hidden now under the legs. It looks stealthy game on tomorrow!!! frog flogger- I do tend to rush the dead sticking. Lol

I throw different color and style frogs but their hook locations are the same. Curved up in each side so they are pointed to the back of the frog's head. I miss countless bass that hit the legs part and don't get to the hooks. I've tried the pause, I've tried the instant. Can I put a trailer hook on each side and hide them under the legs?

I thought that rod was going in the drink!!!!
