Rod Recommendation For Jerkbaits
Highly considering buying the new Ike reaction rod for this purpose. There's a 6'3 they designed specifically for jerk baits. They run around 120 or so. Been using a 7' spinning set up and I think the shorter rod will help a lot with working the baits.

Favorite Rod Brand?
I really thought it was going to be 13 for me, but something about my Powells just edged them out enough for me to roll that direction. The new inferno's though $30 more than the *** are some bad mama jamma's. Currently using a mix of Endurance, Diesel and Inferno's.

Megabass Orochi Xx Drop Shot Rod
That's a deal breaker for me as well. That type of money deserves a better warranty which there is a bunch of rods in that price range that have better warranties.

Powell Or Dobyns
Sorry man but the endurance blows the savvy out of the water all day, not even close here. I would take one of the new inferno's over a savvy. If your spending Dobyns money you really ought to just get an Extreme.

Powell Or Dobyns
Champ vs Endurance is pretty even. Now Dx vs Endurance brings some separation.

Pflueger Spinning Reels
Love all my Pfluegers, the Supreme Xt is definitely worth it for longevity. Presidents have been great but after a year of consistent fishing they do start to lose their tightness. I would expect that out of most any reel in that range though. My XT is still running as tight and smooth as the day I bought it.

Coloration
Thanks for the replies! The question came up the other day when fishing a lake that seemed to have an even mix of each. Im wondering now if some of the dark ones were hiding in holes in the rocks. The biggest fish ended up being one of the brownish green, although typically the biger the fish the better the barring. We even caught a few with dark grey bellies, beautiful fish! ,

Coloration
So what is the difference between the coloration? I have caught many smallmouth of all different sizes some just the solid brownish green and others covered in the bars. Is it a male/female deal?

Any one rolling with these, or have experience? Just picked up a 6'9 Villain spinning rod on closeout and was considering one of these reels but have not heard diddly about them. Are they worthy of the price tags they carry?

Revo S Vs. Revo Stx
I have got to say the number one most annoying thing on these forums is when someone ask a specific question about a specific item, or set of items, and folks get on and answer their question with things that have nothing to do with what they originally asked about. Sorry I have no comparison of the 2 as I only own an stx.... I also own several other brands of gear as well that I like but you didn't ask about them.

Shimano Curado E's
Its all over on the auction site. I just do alot of browsing over there and the going price is anywhere from 150 to 220. I won't ever pay over retail for a used item unless it is for a collection type purpose.

Shimano Curado E's
Ok I am sure this has been hashed out before, but other than for collectors purpose, why would people be willing to pay more for, or as much for these as they would the new chronarchs or other similarly priced new reels? Are they really that great to demand prices much over the original price. Kudos to the folks making the money, just seems kinda silly.
