I caught my PB back in May and it measured 24 1/4 long and 18 1/4 girth and weighed 10.52 the guy that did mine had no problems with anything here is a pic what he made for me.

I use Zoom 6 inch black lizards and recently found some solid black Zoom magnum lizards bass in my area love'em

We have one in my area its a great place friendly staff and keep as many have said stuff you just cant get anywhere else. I would rather spend my money with them then at one of the big box stores.

Lew's has great customer service

your welcome us Lew's guys have to stick together with all these shimano people around here I was looking on Lew's website and it say externally adjustable brakes so maybe they don't adjust

I have several of the Lew's Tournament MB's and the brakes click on mine

look on Ebay for a new reel or a good used name brand reel. I have bought several from there and happy with one of them. I prefer Lew's but they fit my hand good. Some prefer Shimano or Daiwa it just depends on what you like.

bought one for my 12 yr old daughter for Christmas. I'm surprised the shimano guys have not chimed about how much better their shimano stuff is

I would also look at the Lew's Tournament MB and spend the extra on a rod

my lists would include Hank Parker, Jimmy Houston, Jeff Kriet. I met Jeff when he fished a tournament at lake texoma a couple of years ago and was a super nice guy. He talked to my 10 yr old daughter for over 20 minutes while we were there.

I have 3 of the Lew's MB's and love them I also have several of Lew's LFS reels. they are all very good reels. But it all comes down to personal preferences. I like the way Lew's fit my hands. All the reels mentioned are very good reels so it all comes down to which you prefer

Well I purchased 2 of these rods at Academy and plan to use them for jigs and chatterbaits and the other will be used for worms and lizards.

Does anyone have any experiences with Daiwa Arid X rods?

I have Lew's Tournament MB's in different gear ratio's and also Lew's LFS reels. my rods are BPS rods. just my preferences. I like Lew's reels they seem to fit my hand better than most and they are a good reel.

I like my Lew's reels but it comes down to which feels better in your hand.
