Frogs and speed/uvibe worms on top if that isn't working then I take to the bottom with big worms and pitching craw/creatures. Work your bait slow....let it soak, drag or slooow roll it. If the bite is on and they are busting then flukes, spinnerbaits, uvibes. Find out where they hang and at what time of day in your spots

You ain't kidding. I splurged and got a Dobyns champion and now I doubt anything less than that. LOL I love that thing. I guess I have to set my bar at 200-300 for a rod. I have been happy thought with the 3 BC reels I have in the 100-200 range. Think you can get a fine reel for 150-200.

The cattle tags are a pesticide The grounds in any agricultural area get their fair share of pesticides wether it be to keep the grubs out of the soli or parasites like fleas just sayin I wouldn't eat it for those reasons just like I won't eat retention pond fish due to the crap that washes in from roads, etc.

I wouldnt worry a fecal matter but the water getting any pesticides in it from the cattle.....On a side note the poop should be worm free so you don't have to worry about hooks or rounds I still wouldn't walk bare foot though
