  1. There's a seller on eBay that has these for $11.95 with free shipping. It's even cheaper than the 3pack from the main website if it has shipping costs.
  2. Is there a picture like this for the Tournament reel?
  3. Yes, it is a wiggle wart.
  4. This was just on eBay, it has 21 bids and sold for $41.00. Crazy painting. All you custom painters out there have potential to make some good money!
  5. Why do people suggest light line like 6lb for senkos? is it for slower fall rate?
  6. Knowning that a lot of people recommend and suggest spooling with mono first, I spooled my entire baitcast with braid. I have no problems at all except the occasional overthrow (I'm used to using a 6'1 and 6'6" spinning, now using a 7")
  7. I bought the Lew's baitcaster last year and so far I love it. I'm wanting to upgrade my spinning reel. So I just bought new in box Lew's Speed Spin spinning real for $43 with free shipping. That's a $16.99 discount from retail price. SS300a RH/LH 9+1 5.2:1 31" 180/10 9.8 oz. $59.99 Features: Rugged all-water designed graphite body, rotor and side cover Soft Touch finish for comfort and slip resistance Drilled, cold forged and anodized aluminum spool Heavy-duty aluminum bail Oversized line roller to reduce line twist Smooth, fully adjustable composite drag system Quality brass pinion gearing Premium 10-bearing system Zero-Reverse one-way clutch bearing Includes braid-ready spare forged aluminum spool; shallow spool design Speed Lube™for exceptional smoothness and uninterrupted performance in all weather conditions Machine-cut aluminum handle with Lew’s performance knob Adjustable right or left hand retrieve
  8. Well I tried Senkos last year and didn't work out, I always ran to my main baits. I'll focus on just Senkos until I catch something. I have a lot of 3/0 and 4/0 wides.
  9. My goal for this year is to catch something with a Senko. I'll be using Wacky rig, looking at the new Lazer TroKar Weedless Wacky Hooks. Has anyone tried them? I'll probably be only using 4" and 5" Senkos. Most likely 2/0 hooks.
  10. First catch with my new Lew's Tournament SS and Veritas rod. Been out for about 4 to 4.5 hours, had to come back in because the trolling motor's battery is bad. Need to buy a new one. Using a NorthStar Kentucky Blue Grass, instead of using a Rage Tail Craw I put a Paca Craw Pumpkin on. I do not like the durability on the Paca's, the fish tore off one of the claws which was ok, but I put another on and some how the claw got torn and I didn't catch anything on it except maybe a big stick. Doubled my Personal Best. 6 lbs 4 oz, it was a fatty
  11. The beavers are the ones with the rugged body. They are used as itself on texas rig or crig maybe, and jig trailers.
  12. Yeah I found that out.. I wasn't sure because it wasn't white, it's some water painted blue color, the first sticker was much better.
  13. Weird.. I just received another package containing 5 4/0 hooks again, with some weird paper of the logo, could be a sticker but doesn't feel like one. My first package was this same day 2 months ago, April, 27th. Do they send something every 2 month or what?
  14. That's my combo I got my Lew's Tournament (not pro) SS yesterday and my Abu-Garcia Veritas Micro Guide 7ft MH/fast is coming tomorrow.
  15. You should sell them.
  16. Gander doesn't carry it, at least not around here. They do have Ardent Line Butter Conditioner. Never used it.
  17. I start screwing them on upside down, when they get to the end of the spring they are upside right in the correct way. I've never had any trouble with it. For say a worm or a rage tail craw or something, I put it under the hook (in the middle of the hook and shaft) then twist it on starting from the bait being the opposite direction of how you want it to actually be when it's all the way on. I'm not sure if the upside down trick works for all shaky heads, but it does for the Zenith Shakey Heads by SiebertOutdoors
  18. Nice big fish. What frog did he catch it on?
  19. The "Hitchhiker" on the back, is that supposed to be like a spring that holds the bait on better?
  20. I've seen that pic a lot on this forum, what hook is that?
  21. Can't really see how it's on the hook. Did you just put it over the hook and run it down to the eye? Edit: I moved the browser over to my 25" Asus 50,000,000:1 ratio, now it looks like you just connect the end ring part to the eye of the hook, right? That makes more sense
  22. Try Lowe's or eBay, this or here, or here, 25 pack
  23. What is the best braid color for clear water if I wanted to tie directly to a lure? I bought some Moss Green PowerPro, is that color good?
  24. That's like the Dick's around here. The closest employee near the fishing department would be behind the desk at the gun department. I rarely go there anyways, the only reason I'd go in there is to pick up something that Gander, Sportsman's Warehouse and WalMart don't carry, or are out of.
