The F&S Sportsman IM6 has two models. 1) Casting Rod - This rod will work for closed-face spincast reels and baitcasters. 2) Spinning Rod - This rod is for spinning reels. The eyes are larger than on the casting rod. It's a 20 dollar rod, made in China. What baitcaster do you have?

Well actually I'm only paying 46 bucks out of my pocket. That's 30% of retail price for the reel. I basically got 72 bucks for free off a game I play haha, they send it to my paypal

I already purchased the Lew's Tournament Speed Spool for $118 on ebay. Thanks for everyones input. About the $200 / Curados, I'm not really familiar with any of the high end reels so I didn't know there were different models of the E series, pretty sure I only seen the 200's with a G on BPS and 300's with the E.

Trying to decide which rod I should get for Lew's Tournament baitcast reel. Price range up to 100 I guess. I bought it at Gander, I'm most likely going to take it back just because BPS has it for $99.99 and I paid $119.99. I was also looking at the Abu Garcia Vendetta but took the Falcon because it was lighter. I was thinking about getting the white Abu Garcia® Veritas™ Micro Guide Series Casting Rod model VRCM70-6. Gander has it for the same price, but BPS has over 25 broken rod reviews.

NorthStar jigs! I put an order in 2 weeks ago for 7 jigs and i just got like 9 more ordered today from their fathers day special! Plus I have about 15 rapala Shad rap Shad color in my tackle box still in the boxes and 2 on poles

Take it back and get a replacement. They are pretty decent reels. I have a very old zebco from over 10 years ago and it still works like a charm although I don't use it anymore. I also have the zebco 33 or 66 gold that works great, but I switched over to spinning reels a few years ago.

I still don't see your point. Letting people know that an account may be a bot should perhaps give mods something to look for when this account posts again. Most bots will login at a later date and update their signature with links. It's called contributing to the community by keeping it safe. No one wants to click a link that installs malware due to them having an unsecure computer and/or using say Internet Explorer.I'd rather let people know than not letting people know. And mods can't see everything, that's a fact that I can prove. We are all human.

I'm looking to get a jig/spinnerbait combo.. which reel/rod and would braid be best? I do have a Megaforce MFC 661MHFB 6'6" Med/Hvy 1/4 - 1oz, 10-20lb rod with a baitcaster, Daiwa Megaforce Twitchin 7.1 100TSH (Twitchinbar), would this be sufficient or should I get a new combo?
