Currently I fish with two brands. St. Croix and a Carbonlite. Legend tournament, Avid, and Rage.

I was all set to go out and probably cull one or two i hoped, but mother nature had other ideas. Went to the movies with the family, come out and its pouring. It eventually stopped but it was too late. Not enough daylight left. So unfortunately my November run is over too.

FSTR nice fish. It's been a while. Too bad you forgot the tape measure, you would have been top 5 for sure with that pair. Hope to see you competing in December.

Good luck to any one who is going out today. Today as we all know is the last day of Nov. I will post final numbers either tonight or tomorrow morning. Giving you heads up Dsidle... LOL.. Right after that I will be launching the December and last competition of the year.

I wanted to take a moment and make an announcement. December, will be my last month coordinating our monthly tournament. I am saying this with a bit of heavy heart, although it is the right decision at this time. I chose Thanksgiving to make this announcement, because I am very thankful that I had the opportunity to coordinate such a fun competition. I met a lot of new people by doing so, and made several friends in the process. Starting in January, another passion of mine kicks into high gear, and it comes in the form of High School coaching. My season will run til late April or early May. This commitment requires my full attention, and during this time I feel I will not be able to serve all of you to the fullest of my capabilities. I will remain has a competitor, and one of my goals is to beat AK, at least one time. LOL... I am stepping down for now, however I would love to return in May and continue where I left off. I welcome anyone, who would like to lead us for the New Year. Thanks again, for having me as your coordinator, you are all a great bunch of anglers and I had a blast. Czar, I documented your catch. You really had me going. I was expecting a couple of monster fish.

AK, documented your catch, that fish puts you at 101"

MCS, that 13.5" fish puts you at 86" which places you in 5th place!! You know what you need to cull. Good luck.

I wanted to take a moment and wish all of you a Happy Thanksgiving. I know its early, but I do not know if any of you are travelling to see family and friends, and may not have a chance to check in. I know I have lot to be thankful for this year. May all of you be safe and enjoy the time with your families.

Mutt you have 2 18" fish to cull. Best of luck. You have to replace them with 20" fish to maybe secure. AK, has some big fish holes, he will go to to secure the win.

Dsidle, you moved to 83.5" which puts you in 6th place.

My two favorite brands are Booyah and LiveTarget. If I had to choose one, I would go with LiveTarget. Booyah's are good frogs with a nice price point. LiveTarget although $$ can take a pretty good beating before you have to retire them. Imho, frog fishing is the most exciting, explosive, and exhilarating technique for bass fishing. Once you get the hang of it, and know when to throw it, it will quickly become one of your favorite techniques.

I went with my brother in law, to his favorite fishing hole in West Miami. We got there a little before 4pm and stayed til about 515pm. Wind was ENE, 15-20 mph, and cloudy. I was using my big Koppers frog, aka: Bubba. I was able to land a 19.5" within the first 10 min of getting there and shortly after an 18". The wind picked up and the temps dropped a little, so any bite we did have shut down. 18" 19.5" This places me at 94.5" for the month. It's going to be tough to try to hit 100". My time is very limited unfortunately.
