Today Made No Sense
I've lost a few lures to gars cutting them clean off. I didn't even know they had them at this one spot I was fishing with my boy until I saw it cut my line clean about 10 feet from shore

Frogs are the only thing to fish at that spot anything else is gonna be more work than its worth removing crap off your lure every cast

Man thank god you just posted!! Lol I was going to head out to Wells at 6:15. I fish to the left of where you took the picture. I try to cast along the bank by where the golf store is and bring it back towards me. You are absolutely right it looks like it did get a lot worse. The first pic by the pipe is where I caught a nice one but there was go vegetation there and there were a lot of gaps, seems like the vegetation covered up a lot of the open gaps it's a shame. Wonder how long it's going to be like this.

Talking about loyalty anyone have a problem with what the Nebraska coach said about the fans in 2011? Whoever released that audio is a snake though and I feel that the coach has a right to speak his mind in private. It would be different if he did an interview and said what he said, I don't have a problem with it. If our friends, family, or co-workers knew what we say in private I think we all would have some problems we are all guilty of acts like this only difference is that we weren't secretly recorded lol. My only problem is his Ryan Braun apology, come on man own it coach!

Minor league games are like a party atleast the two NJ teams I saw treated it like that. I use to go to the Blue Claws game for like $10 and Trenton Thunder games. Man the Blue Claws stadium is like a carnival mixed with a baseball stadium lol there is so much to do other than watch the team play. Not to mention the beer and food costs WAYYY less than the big leagues. I remember having to take out a loan everytime I came back from Yankee Stadium! Man their prices are ridiculous.

I think it's more of the atmosphere than the cost. You go to a football game and the atmosphere is like a party baseball is more like a wedding lol. As far as price goes if you are a Jaguars or Raiders fan I'd imagine you can take your whole family, aunts cousins uncles included, for around $100 they may even pay you to go to the games they are so bad lol

You pointed out the EXACT problem too many meaningless games! Every game in the NFL means something there's only 16. I think even the NBA is a bit much with 82. But baseball and 162 that's a bit much. Like you said Americans these days don't have a long attention span so that's probably why they are lacking in the MLB

You go to NFL games and you have a younger crowd you go to baseball games you have an older crowd and family atmosphere which I enjoy because as I stated before baseball is my favorite event to go to in person something about Yankee stadium lol only other two Ive been to was the old and new Mets stadium and Phillies games when I was young.

You may not agree but ESPN knows they got people who research that stuff. Baseball is for the older generation can't be argued

Me too man we all make mistakes just fess up to it. But the reason why they lie is because steroids are technically illegal and they can be brought up on federal charges if taken that far. But what Braun did was inexplicable! He not only lied but threw an employee under the bus ruining his reputation to save his own thats what disgust me the most about Ryan Braun

Baseballs demise is due to their stubbornness to get on board with technology. They are stuck in "Americas past time" that they forget about the PAST part. Things have changed, the athlete has changed, and more importantly technology has changed but baseball is unwilling too.

Sports Loyalty....
I wasn't knocking the steroiders AT ALL. I actually love what they did for the sport! As Ryan Braun proved anybody can be on steroids you don't have to look like a football player lol. I know steroids gives people an "advantage" but at the end of the day the bat has to hit the ball and the ball has to go out the park. As far as your comment of more people playing baseball than football that's obviously true you need to be a physical specimen to last in football any old joe can play baseball if you can catch, throw, and hit at an elevated level because we all can do those things. As far as basketball and football go you need to be a different type of athlete. But there's no need to get into a back and forth because everything I said was facts supported by ESPN's outside the lines. They were saying that the youth has gravitated away from baseball and have become more involved in football and basketball at least in the US anyway. That may explain why the Latino population dominates baseball. When I was younger I enjoyed playing baseball and soccer. Then I got old enough for football and became big and that took over to college. My favorite sports to play and watch are football and basketball. But when it comes to going to a live event baseball is at the top of the list. I have only been to a few Flyers games when I was younger so I can't speak much on hockey, but all my friends who like hockey tell me that going to a game is a great time.

IMO baseball is dead. It was America's past time but the argument can be made that Football and even basketball has taken over, more so NFL than NBA (eventhough NBA has been the most popular it has been in years). I know a lot of people here are older so probably love baseball but during the "steroid era" with McGuire Sosa Bonds and those boys baseball was AMAZING! I am a Yankee fan and when I was in NJ I went to atleast 15 games a season, my friend had season tickets. Over the past couple years I don't really care about baseball nor do I watch it until the World Series, unless the Yanks are in the playoffs or it's a Yankee Red Sox game. Baseball is dying unless they bring back the long balls, STEROIDS, lol. Like I mentioned before during the BIG 3, we will call those roiders, era especially that one year people that had no clue about sports knew what was going on with the home run race. Stations that don't report on sports were covering that

Really Ncaa?!?!
Football is too quick and too many bang bang plays. Like Ray Lewis said Monday night it can not be left up to refs and the human eye because everything is judgment based. Lets take that clay hit on Colin. Clay came out before game and said that you need to hit Colin make him feel you. So Clay takes a late shot out of bounds. One can see it as Clay doing exactly what he said he was going to do, which would be an intentional premeditated hit, or Clay left his feet already so he couldn't stop himself. But to have refs inforce penalties off of sheer judgement calls on hits is starting to affect a lot of football games. Ray said someone uostairs should break down tape a rewind to gauge a players intent on suspect hits. Only problem with that is it wouldn't work and would slow down the game. If we want to play football LET THEM PLAY! If not take off all the protectiive gear throw on your cleets, jersey, and some shorts and put flags around their waists

Seahawks
Lucky for you the Eagles will be playing the Seahawks in the NFC championship game unfortunately for us it will most likely be in Seattle

Lol my friend has been a Seahawks fan his whole life they just started winning lol jk

Sports Loyalty....
You can be loyal to your team but support other players/teams what's the crime in that? Unless you are Yankee fan supporting the Red Sox or some other team rivalry. But like people have said I enjoy watching any football or basketball game. If my son ends up playing football and is a hardcore eagles fan like his father and he gets drafted by the Cowboys according to this I must disown my son because of my Eagles loyalty and never support my son not watch him unless he's playing Philly lol. There is a difference between a fan and a fanatic, the fanatics are over the top. Like when people made a big deal about Colin Kaepernick wearing a dolphins hat that matched his outfit lol. 49ers are in NFC Dolphins are in AFC how is that a problem? If it were a Seahawks hat or some division rival then I could see the uproar. If you work for General Eletric are you only going to buy GE products and anything else you see makes you sick? If so you will have a house full of appliances and nothing else. That's just my take on it. It's fine to support other players and teams. I'm sure a MAJORITY of us are huge Michael Jordan fans does that mean we are Bulls fans not necessarily I know I'm not.

What Was Your Most Cherished Fishing Moment ?
When my girlfriend caught her PB bass 6lbs. We stopped at a lake before our movie and it was our 2 year anniversary. She was fishing a frog and when she heard the blow up and felt the weight she got startled it was funny, I yelled set the hook babe. She was reeling it in and kept saying I don't think I can reel it in, had 30lb braid so I wasn't worried lol. She finally gets the fish to shore and her face lit up she was so excited to see her biggest bass caught to date. I love the fact that I found a girl who loves fishing with her man lol most women would rather stay home while their man is fishing
