  1. I did that at the vern when you and I were there in March. I thought I had my PB smallie when I set the hook, turned out to be just another almost 4 pounder.
  2. I'll let you use my 6'8" M/F just in case you need some convincing. It's a sweet rod!!
  3. I would recommend the 6'6" Medium/Fast carbonlite. I use that rod for small jerkbaits and it serves me well.
  4. Even cheaper for a JOCO employee. Yea we know you're a huge fan
  5. Yea from what I've heard from guys on here it's been getting better. Be nice if the smallmouth population would take off.
  6. Most of my big fish over the years came from the dam, and a few from the rock bank in between the ramp and the marina dock. Biggest one I've seen from there was when I was a freshman in high school and I didn't even carry a scale with me. Buddy caught it on the dam and it was easily 6 lbs.
  7. I used to fish Cedar a ton when I was in high school and college. Many a 5 pound fish came into my bass raider over the years from that lake. There was about a 2 year period where it was straight chocolate milk from the exit/on ramps they put in on lone elm, and the lake just has not been the same since then. I won't talk about the amount of big fish I used to catch out of SMP when I was a teenager, just depressing to think about what it's turned into today.
  8. I don't like the idea of these "improvements". Cedar lake has been jacked up ever since they did the 159th/Lone Elm road construction.
  9. Going on 20 years now on our 280 SF. It's a '93 and is still a great boat.
  10. I use a modified albright and with a little spit I hardly ever have any issues getting it to tighten down properly. Every now and then it will pull out of the leader material and I'll have to re-tie it, but it doesn't happen very often.
  11. Only small fish on the bait, gotta use bigger baits........ Bluebasser took this pic last April. His was a 4 lb LM and mine was about a 16" Spot both caught within feet of each other.
  12. He lost a combo at kill creek a few weeks ago I believe when he and the dog went in.
  13. x2. Throw the new Mojo 6'10" ML/XF in there as a really good rod for the Ned.
  14. Going to send it in today or tomorrow. But it is $15 to print off a shipping label from St Croix's website, then you put a $20 check in with the rod(s) for the return shipping.
  15. Hey hey that was a compliment buddy.
  16. You're a lot brighter than you look
  17. I agree with you. And like you said it's a mojo for $55 (actually a new model).
  18. Somebody just let me know, sending it in soon.
  19. Special is one way to describe you....
  20. This ^^^^ If you want to send it we can either meet somewhere, or you could just drop it by my house in Gardner.
  21. Not sure. You could just send it in with mine along with a note telling how you broke it and they can decide if they'll warranty it or not. They require a note with your information and an explanation so they can call you if they have any issues. If they don't replace it under warranty I'm sure they'd call you about what your options are.
  22. I know, but it still costs $35 total with the $20 check you have to send with it. I've sent 3 or 4 of these Rages back to them in the past year and it's starting to add up. Just trying to keep the cost down and help someone else out that might need to send something back.
