That's a wall hanger for sure!

Hot...hot...hot!
As anyone in Oklahoma or Texas will tell you, the past 2-3 weeks has seen some scorchers. With day time temperatures reaching 106-109, day time fishing is restricted to early mornings and evenings. What I wouldn't give for a calm, overcast sky to block this sun. Went to my favorite holes Sunday morning, but I didn't stay long.

Moderator??
Since we have the majority of the moderators/administrators attention here, lets hand out some awards that are long overdue: Glenn - Visionary Award Many years ago, this man had a dream and a vision that eventually became a reality. Now we have the largest and most popular bass fishing forum on the internet. Thank you Glenn. LongMike - Boomer Sooner Award Only those from the land where our bass wear OU jerseys would understand. "Go Sooners!" J Franco - Extreme Angler Award Anyone who stands on an Ocean Kayak while reeling in a hawg definately lives on the extreme side. Yak On! Roadwarrior - Time Management Award How does a man find time to bass fish and garden too? I had to give up gardening because it interfered with my fishing...how do you do it??

Yum Dinger Vs Yamamoto Senko?just Your Opinion
I've used Yamamoto Senkos and all the knock offs...Yamamoto Senkos definately perform better in the water.

Extreme Hoodaddy
I've been using the Gene Lawrew HooDaddy for years now and this year I started making this simple modification to give it more action. The past couple of weeks has seen some violent strikes on this creature, especially during the fall.

Powell Max Review
Great review! I own a couple 684c rods and they have served me well for six years now. I use mine mainly for t-rigs and they are very sensitive and although they feel lite, they definately have the backbone to haul the hawgs in. They look plain next to my Dobyns, but when I need to reel em in out of the trash, I grab my Powell rods. Great rods and you can't beat the price.

How Long Till You Give Up And Move?
As long as it takes to try 2-3 proven lures. I don't have much river experience, but on lakes I start in the shallows and then move out deeper on choice contours and structure.

Avoid Backstabber And Iobee Frog By Jackall
You might have received a bad frog, happens. Send it back for a replacement. My IOBEE doesn't take on any more water than my Spro frogs, and I think the hooks set much better. I love the way it walks without having to trim the legs.

Owner Hooks
I've never used these hooks before, so I decided to give them a try. These hooks are really sharp! I've been a loyal Gamakatsu user for years, but I think I'll be switching over to these Owner hooks. IMO they are just as sharp as Trokar, only stronger. I know they're more expensive compared to Gamakatsu, but from what I can see and feel, they're well worth it. The points on these hooks feel like they will slice through the toughest jaw like a hot knife through butter.

I Quit From Your Crappy Forum
Hey, I know this guy! I see him on the water all the time. He always leaves his trash behind on the bank and throws his empty beer cans overboard as he races across the lake without a PFD. Sometimes he cuts across your bow and cuts your line because he wants to move in where you're catching a limit. He sometimes violates the no wake rule when coming up to the docks and causes your boat to smash into the railing. When he sees you holding up the catch of a lifetime he gives you a dirty look or even the finger instead of congratulating you. Yeah, I know this guy, he's always about me me me!

Lc Wake Baits Are Back
TW just got the new LC Wake Bait! The RC version of these baits were top water killers for me the past couple of years. I was really disappointed when they discontinued those, but now I can stock up.
