I'm I'm going to the hall after work to sit down with the bargaining chairman.. And see what they say.. I'm surprised they didn't tick test him on the spot. But we are so far behind rite now they really didn't handle it well. And plan on doing a safety walk Monday morning..

Management did meet with the guy. And obviously nothing was said or done about it. They sent that station home for the day and canceled their over time for for this weekend.. I am the steward for my line he is part of my line but works in another area. We don't have a committee man rite now elections are next month.

Thanks guys and I'm not trying to turn this into union non union thing. The union has helped in making a nice living for me and my family. There are not many jobs out there that are non union that pay 27.00 a hr and have the benefits and health insurance I have. But trust me the company I work for can afford to pay us we are the ones making them all there money.. They made 18 billion last year alone. And that is all profit after there costs

I am the Stewart.. And I can tell you that if I take it to the hall. They are gonna tell me that he has to ask for help or there is nothing they can do. Been down that road already.. The company I work for is in the top 50 of the world.. And all they care about is the almighty dollar. Now we do have a policy on drugs. First dirty drop is 30 days off with out pay and rehab. But according the contract as far as alcohol goes it's very Grey area.. And basically says 0 tolerance.. I am running for the committee men spot next month. And I don't want people to think I'm a rat.. So it's clouding my head. As a Christian I no I should tell the section Manger or HR. But as a union man its telling me to keep my mouth shut.. If you haven't been in a union before you don't have any idea what it's like as far as brotherhood goes. I have strikes with allot of these guys and it can get nasty.. My own blood is telling me to keep my mouth shut.. But morally I feel as I need to say something before someone is hurt or killed. Like I said it's hard to understand my dad never crossed the line stayed on strike for 2 years is well known around here. And he won't even talk to my father in law cause he is a scab in his eyes. And my dads father in law only had 8 months left till he retired. Is why he crossed he risked loosing everything if he stayed out.. If ya catch my drift

Yes I want to get advice. Keep in mind I am a very strong UAW worker union member..There is guy at work who comes in every morning after drinking all night he may definitely still intoxicated.. He has almost got people hurt twice now.. And today dropped a 4,000 lb D11 fender from a overhead crane. Luckily my other brother and sisters were not underneath or it would seriously hurt or could of killed one of them.. The reason I'm posting this I am the union Stewart and don't want to call the hall or say anything until I know for sure how I want to handle it.. I have other Co workers coming to me and telling me about the situation.. Again I am 4th generation union worker and have been in the union since I was 19.. Besides having to put my dog down 3 weeks ago I think this is the hardest thing I have had to deal with. So I come here to post just to get some advice from people who don't know.. Just so you no I have tried talking to this guy several times... And he was moved out of my section so I figured I wouldn't have to deal wit it any longer.. So anyway any advice is welcome hopefully some other union brothers and sisters will speak up.. Thanks

The main thing is the noise I had from my power drive v2..it was super loud to me.. And didn't like the cord for the foot pedal but that's something you will deal with for both models unless you buy the highest end model. Another thing I didn't like was when I ran it wireless with the controller you could not use foot pedal. Now with terrova you could so again was just the model I had.. But i an an say for sure it was noisy.. And I'm not trying to bash on minkota at all.. They make a good trolling motor it just wasn't for me.. Main reason there is they with Hummingbird and I'm a Lowrance guy. Again personal preference nothing else..

Your probably rite.. It just rubbed me the wrong way. I just don't like it when people act like i made a impulse buy on a item such as a boat.. I research everything to the fullest before I buy something... Anyway after rereading the post I saw the wink face at the end. But had already posted and since I took the time to rite it up with links I just left it. Mainly for Informational purposes.. I got the new xi5 with pinpoint 80lb 24v love it had the minkota powerdrive v2 with ipiolot on my last boat and i just dont care for minkota.. Plus i am a lowrance guy and from my understanding lowrance has partnered with motorguide and is planning on having this some time soon waiting for the update. Im such a sucker for fishing rods. I have another update i ended up catching one hell of deal not gonna say where cause i am not sure if they are a board sponser. Or if they even want me to say. But it was to good to pass up. I orderd a Dobyns 1-735c 1-745dx 1-705cb 1-734c 2- revo premiers for myself and 2 SXs for the ol lady to use on the LTBs. i will still be using them some as well. for cranking and jerkbaits. keeping one of the LTBs set up for frogs for girl.

The only thing a Shimano has that I will use their spinning Reels.. Other then that hands down Abu Garcia. don't understand why people feel they need to come into threads and say something that has nothing to do with the topic.. Sorry for ranting I have a couple gen 2 SXs and have not had any issues with them but I do tend to throw heavier baits. And mainly use my premieres... Sorry couldn't be of more assistance. . Hello i have 2014 bass Tracker Pro team txw wanting to Lengthen the rod holders 6 of them are 6 1/2 long need to fit 7.4 rods in there. Any suggestions or has someone done this before. I have searched high and low and can't find any info on this. It is just floating foam at the end I thought about taking a old rod and just poking it there and waller it out some. Anyway any help would be great. thanks

Ok TY and will do.. Gonna fish saturday but its looking like overcast and high 50s water temp last weekend was almost 60 fishing has been decent but a cold front moved in saturday night and shut them down for the most part sunday morning. I fished from 5:30 till noon and caught 4 bass biggest 3lbs and smallest was a dinker maybe a 1lb. Did get on some crappie mid morning. The ol lady killed me she had 6 nice bass i dont get it we go out iim working the baits hard and she is in the back of the boat drinking coffe daydreaming and kicks my butt. Dont like to say but she definatly has the biggest fish of the year so far and bigger then anything i have caught before. 2 weekends ago she got a nice 6 lber and then proceded to rub it in after i told her it was bigger then anything i have caught. But i cant complain being engaged to a women that loves fishing as much as me has its perks. She doesent say **** when i want to go shopping cause she knows she will get to go too.. And she gets spend some money too... Sorry for getting side tracked and babbling..

Just a little update. I pulled the trigger on the Dobyns champion 766. After much debate and calling both companys i was still leaning croix. But then i said what the heck ive been wanting to try a dobyns and see if the hype is true. So i will have the rod tommorow and will be fishing saturday rain or shine. I will post a update with a photo for people to read thanks for all the help.. Im thinking 80lb braid any suggestions on brand of braid if 80lb is overkill?

Is it worth it to replace the bearings in my reel. Reels are Abu Garcia Revo premiere have 4 of them. One Revo stx and a Revo rocket. Wondering if it's worth it to change the bearings. Just spool bearings from what I have read. Premiere are 2 years old and I take care of them clean them atleast once a month. Was thinking leave the rocket alone since it's BN and going on my pitching rod. But use the others for cranks top water and the stx is used for frogs... Thanks for your time. If you dont mind me asking what was your reasons for switching to dobyns? ANd how many Rods did you have of the croix? Not trying to get off topic but that is one of my concerns liking the new rig so much i want to switch all 6 of my setups..

I will be pitching more i would say. But i will also be flipping into some cattails quit often i have pulled my best fish this year off these cattails with shallow cranks. Thats why im in the market for a new rod. I need to get in nooks and catch that lunker..
