I cant say if there was a thermocline in Lake George N.Y. But ive had Smallies biting good between 50 and 80 feet.Structure was deep humps..

Went shark fishing with my buddie couple summers ago..We hook into a thresher shark,,bit under 300 pounds,, after the fight we had it next to the boat and as we looked at it a moment,,its tail came up and smacked me in the face,,landed on my butt,,saw tweety birds flying around my head,and to top it off got teased all the way back to the dock...

I had some nice smallies on a mojo rig in deep water.

I turn them out threw the gil plate with pliers.But i caught a bass a few years ago with what looked like a stick with slime on it hanging out its butt.i grabbed my pliers and got it out the bass,turns out it was a 2/0 g-lock hook.Not sure if the bass would have passed it the rest of the way,but it was heathy as any other fish i released,and sure he was happy he saw me that day.

You all are over looking one importatnt fact.That if something ever happen that you ended up in the water,that bright color shirt just could just as well save your life by being seen.Sure its a long shot something would happen,but if bright colors saves one bass resource member,then Im all for bright colors.No fish are worth that...

Out with my buddie last summer and the fish werent biting much,,,as a spoof i put a zoom toad on a mo-jo rig as we were fishin a deep drop off.Within 10 minutes of putting it on i had 2 nice smallies and one walleye.Havnt done it since,but we find when the bass arent slappin on top,we let it drop down and work it like free falling senko.

The 2 stroke 75 cost more then the 60 4 stroke,,The 4 stroke might not be as quite as the 2,but i can still have a convo on the boat while running and not have to yell.And my last fishin trip we fished for 3 days from sun up to sun down and use around 12 gallons of gas. I know lowe boats have a few Youtube vids on the 75,,,tracker might have some of the same...

I just bought a lowe boat with a 75 merc,,it has a great hole shot and throws the boat up on plane quik.

I pulled a bone-head move this morning and snapped the tip off my favorite spinning rod.I checked basspro,cabelas,and tackle warehouse,*** was the only place i saw they had some styles,but not the one im looking to replace.Anyone know of any other places that might carry Denali rods? thanks in advance
