No you dont need a trailer but you can use one.. i will throw a like grub on sometimes.. but you live in georgia so you can prob get away with a little more action .. im not sure what the fish down are like in your "winters"..

ive been hitting up this one rock pile for a week .. i caught one bass on there which was 3 lbs and i knew it was a matter of time before the bigger ones should up.. yesterday i finally got a desent bass. went 5.3.. still waiting for the big girls to move to them tho.

funny thing is I was river fishing for strippers this past spring.. well my 6oz bank sinker got nudge between some rocks.. I was trying break it off, long story short I almost got drilled by 5 oz of lead straight to my noggin!

That's just stupidity not to wear sunglasses, if you forget them fine. but most people who wear them have multiple pairs.. you'll be sorry sooner rather than later. Plus I think it is hard to see if your getting follows behind you lures, while squinting down at them.... you don't know how precious eye sight is , which `is sickening.
