Buying A Kayak This Spring!
Yeah, that's what I meant, the Cuda, not the Coosa. I knew the Coosa is a great river kayak, and the Cuda is the lake one.

Buying A Kayak This Spring!
Take a look at the Jackson Coosa also. Its a very stable kayak to stand in and has a very comfy seat and is definitely built for fishing...

Only Three Color "schemes" To Choose From, What Would You Take.
Went to a fishing show a couple months ago and Paul Elias (of Alabama rig fame) spoke at a seminar there. He said that there are 3 primary forage colors that you need and that's pretty much all you need. A shad color to mimic bait fish Something with chartreuse which mimics bluegill colors and a Crayfish color True there are other colors he uses, but those are the three primary colors he catches fish the most on.

Targeting Asian Carp (Silver Carp)
Unfortunately a grass carp and common carp are completely different fish from asian carp. Like everyone else said they are plankton eaters and just swim around eating all the nutrients out of the water and is how they completely decimate any body of water they are found in. Plus they reproduce very quickly which multiplies the problem.

Norman Fat Boy Vs Bomber Square A
Can't really answer which is better, but I've always had good luck with the Bomber in chartreuse/black and fire tiger.

Wd-40 And Bass Fishing?
Straight from the WD-40 website: What a Fish story! Myth: WD-40 contains fish oil. Fact: Consumers have told us over the years that they have caught some of the biggest fish ever after protecting their fish hooks and lures with WD-40. We believe this legend came from folks assuming that the product must contain fish oil since it appears to attract fish. Sorry Charlie®, it just ain’t so. WD-40 Company has taken steps to respect and conserve the environment, and encourages its users to do the same. While WD-40 can be used to help protect fishing equipment from rust and corrosion, WD-40 Company does not recommend using WD-40 to attract fish. http://wd40.com/about-us/myths-legends-fun-facts/ And for those who don't know what WD-40 stands for, it means "Water Displacement-Formula #40". One of it's best uses is on electrical connections that come in contact with water. It will repel any existing moisture in the connection and then when it drys it leaves oil behind which inhibits any future moisture from entering the connection, and it's non-conductive so it won't affect the connection itself.

How Many Rightys Fish Lefty?
I cast right reel left. Always felt more natural for me like that. Makes it so I don't have to swap hands after I cast too.

Senko Question Size
I use mainly 4" but have tried 5". Had more luck with the 4". Favorite color would be some shade of white (plain white, white with silver sparkle, white with black fleck)

Wilderness Systems Ride 115 Kayak
I wish my Ocean Kayak Trident was that stable when standing. Might be but I've only tried once to stand in it and it was in early March last year in cold water and I didn't feel like getting hypothermia that day.

Major League Fishing Scales
I almost guarantee you that those Berkley grip scales they are using aren't off the shelf scales anyone can buy. I'm pretty sure these pros would make sure they are all calibrated exactly the same before they start. Heck, they might even have better and more accurate electronics in them the Berkley specifically made for big tourneys like this. Who knows though.

Jig Skirts
I haven't gotten any EZ skirts from there but I bought all my real rubber skirts from there and they have really good prices and lots of sales from time to time.

New Armor All Product- Will It Work?
Ahh, never mind...I saw the price for the winter kit they sell on AA's website for $50 http://www.aacustomshield.com/ And now I do see they sell it in different colors (white, gray, black and clear). Just doesn't seem that durable to me. Now if Rhino lining came out with something that was removable they'd be onto something...that stuff is tough as nails, even bomb proof!

New Armor All Product- Will It Work?
It looks very temporary to me, at best. I doubt that would last long following a car down a gravel road without the spray coating getting all chewed up. I think a few rolls of painters tape would be just as, if not more, effective at preventing paint chips and bug splatter. The cost of a can of that Armor all stuff is $50, that'll buy you about 10-12 rolls of wide painters tape that you could put on and then take back off when you are finished with the road trip...Sure it'll be blue, but that black doesn't look that much better...

Lure Colors?
Recently visited a fishing show and had a few pros giving seminars. One of them said he carries three basic colors. Some sort of shad color, some sort of bluegill color, and some sort of crawfish color. Those are the three main forage types for bass. He said all of his bluegill colored baits had chartreuse in some form in them and that was the color he caught 80% of his fish on.

How Similar Are Large And Smallies?
Smallmouth tend to school more than largemouth. Usually where you find one smallie there are a bunch more. Smallies tend to be a bit more aggressive also and will chase bait that are quite a ways away from where they are holding, both horizontally and vertically in the water.

Berkly Nanofil
I think it's junk. The only thing it has going for it is that it's super thin and casts a mile on spinning gear. I found it to break really easily without much pressure. That alone makes it useless.

Nhl Lockout's Over ~
I'm totally not looking forward to going to games now. They've left a sour taste in my mouth with this one. The one 8 years ago was bad enough and now they do it again. They really don't care about the fans like myself that have put their hard earned money on the table and have bought season tickets. We have a 10 pack, and 4 games have already been refunded, so I'm wondering, are we going to get our other 6 games we've paid for? I'd like to see how they are going to handle this. Also, I've read where people are saying there should be a "15 minutes of silence" where for the first 15 minutes of each game, including introductions, everyone sits on their hands and doesn't cheer or clap or anything, to show both the owners and players our view towards the league in what happened. They won't be holding my money hostage after this season though. For all I care, the league could have went away. And I'm a hockey fan.
