So, i went to download it on my iPad, it is a lot more money on it versus my iPhone, $10 vs $50. Does anyone run the iPhone version on their iPad, if so how does it look?

What do you guys think of VMC hooks? I love Trokar but they can get kind of expensive. And VMC are available a lot of places I shop so was considering them.

i would be using it mostly for sexy dawgs/spooks, prop baits, pop rs, and jerkbaits. i have a H frog rod. I currently have two Veritas, great rods, they seem to be a little stiffer then their rating, and their 6'6" has a 13.5 handle, kinda longer then i wanted.

Looking at the ***, it really looks like a front runner right now. Very short handle length of 12.5", 6"7, medium, fast. I have been wanting to try one of these rods too.

So, I did some searching for topics on this, but didn't really find any good answers. What do you guys look for in a top water rod? Fiberglass, composite, or graphite? I am thinking I want a 6'6" medium power. Any suggestions in the under $115 range that you guys like? I was thinking a Wright McGill Rick Clunn, *** ***, St Croix Mojo, or taking suggestions.

I have also wondered why craws aren't used as much as beaver baits. I do like the compactness of a beaver bait, but think the action of a craw is fantastic.

When, where, and why do you use a skirt with your soft plastics? Seems like I have been seeing it more, especially on Major League Fishing episodes and got me wondering. I have never used them.

so, I love the podcast from Tournament Fishing Radio, but looks like they are getting dropped by their local ESPN station in favor of national programming. So, they are shutting everything down. They were an excellent show, and by far my favorite. Any other shows out there you listen to on podcast? I do catch Bass Edge, but i need another one. Suggestions?

I am thinking of getting a Talon. I like the idea of no hydraulics and the ability to remove it easily if I buy a new boat. Any owners have opinions on their Talon. My other option would be a Power Pole Sportsman II which costs me about $200 more, I have found good deals on both. Let me know your thoughts. FYI, I have a Stratos 185. Thanks.

This year I am switching my spinning reels to braid with a Fluor leader for drop shot, shakeys, weightless, ect. I was going to go with 10lb braid. What do you recommend? I have only used 65lb power pro on my frog road, that is the extent of my braid use. I was thinking of wither Power Pro slick, Sufix 832, Kanzen, or Spiderwire Ultracast.

I use Lews Tornament reals mostly. But I have two new flipping rods i need reels for and had a question. Do you need a high quality flipping reel? I turn the brakes way down to get longer flips so that isn't a big deal. The only issue is drag right? Give me your thoughts on flipping reels. Thanks.

I am having a hard time wanting to pull the trigger on a Powerpole. While researching I found these Dig In anchors. Week to be a great concept. Anyone use these and have an opinion on them?

I am looking at cranking rods and there are graphite ones that have great parabolic flex. So I was wondering if fiberglass rods have any less feel then graphite. Also are there any other benefits to fiberglass then the good parabolic bend?
