Price range? What reel?

Can't comment on the Quantum but I love my PQ's. Just sayin.

I've heard from guys that they like a softer tip so it loads better to detect the sometimes indistinguishable bites you get on a DS. I've never heard of a CB rod before though.

How many money?

Dobyns Champion 702c with a Curado 51e. I can fish most applications on here but I really like it for shakey heads and smaller jigs

Watermelon/Black fleck senko, trig or wacky, both catch a lot of fish.

I go with whatever I can find a good deal on, as long as its quality.

Jig. All my biggest fish have come on a jig.

I drop shot with a baitcaster and I like it more but thats probably because my the BC rod is more sensitive than my spinning rod. I catch fish on both though. My BC set up is a Dobyns Champ 702C with a Curado 51e spooled with 10# Sunline Sniper. The line is heavier than I would use for a strict DS set up, but its not primarily for DS.

Most of my spinners are 3/8-1/2 so I use a 7' MH/F Mojo. I also use this for swim jigs, chatter baits and buzzbaits.

Carbonlite is a good choice. I would also consider the Compre. Of all my 100$ rods that is my favorite. Like TNBassin' mentioned, a lot of good things have been coming out about the ***. I don't have any experience with them but I've ONLY heard good things.

I use straight flouro on both set ups. I think that mostly comes down to personal preference though.

I primarily use a Dobyns Chamion 702 for this but if I have something else on there I will throw shakey heads on my 6'6 Shimano Compre. Both are medium power, fast action.

Check out a Duckett Magic or Powell Max. They might be other rods to consider.

Watermelon/Black Fleck, 4 or 5/0 hook, rig it backwards (insert the hook point into the side with the skirt, texas rigged), and trust me, they catch fish.

I use 12# Yo Zuri, on both my spinnerbait and my cranking set up. I will throw spinners on braid though, in which case its 50# Power Pro, but thats not my first choice.

First fluoro I bought was Sunline Sniper and I've not seen any reason to try anything else.

2 weekends ago at BPS 3 packs of 5'' Stick O's 1 pack of Zoom Super Flukes 1 pack of 1/4oz Spot Remover Shakey Heads This past weekend my brother came to visit. He's strictly fly fishing now so I got all of his old bass tackle. I honestly don't remember everything in there but it included some Xcalibur cranks, Rat-L-Traps, some poppers, a Spook, Rapala X-Rap slashbait, a hand full of spinner baits, a coulple bags of plastics, 2 jigs and a bunch of sinkers, hooks, etc. Plus all the plano boxes. I guess I didn't buy any of that, but I think it still counts

Do you ever catch small fish? Or even an average sized fish?? Or maybe this is average for you, haha. Nice catch!
