What rod power/tip used for multiple techinques?
As I am not ready nor do I have enough money to have only one techinque specific rods. I was wondering what rod power/tip doubles for multiple techniques? I was always kind of confused on this and I have seen conflicting information. I have at least one rod of every power starting at medium. Thanks

Bass Boat weight?
Yes its the 350 V8. I was thinking if I could use it for at least four more years it might open up a little more money for a boat. There is some great information here that I will have to keep in mind. If I were have to replace transmission I am assuming that a factory built one instead of a rebuilt one would be best? HPBB, Thats the first time I heard about not towing in Overdrive and towing in 3rd with an automatic. What about regular Drive can it be towed that way? Thanks

Bass Boat weight?
Generally speaking how much does a bass boat in their respective length(18', 19' etc.) class weigh after gas, equipment, etc. I am looking at towing weight. Just seeing(which I hope it should) if my 1991 Chevy 1500 can pull a boat of that size. But it is getting up there in mile around 130,000.

Now that I have a strictly pitch/flip combo I am going to put some PowerPro on it and back it with regular line. How much backing should on put on the spool? Just enough to cover the spool at the bottom, etc. etc.? Also what knot does everyone use to connect the two lines? Thanks

Loomis crankbait and spinnerbait series rods?
That was my main wondering. For blank it just says "Crankbait" or "Spinnerbait" and was kind of wondering how they compare to other Loomis blanks.
-
Loomis crankbait and spinnerbait series rods?
I haven't seen much mention of these rods. I noticed when looking in their catalog that he doesn't really mention what kind of blank they use, unless I missed it. Are these good rods for the techniques they are listed for? Thanks
