Which reel ??
Personally I would go with the 100D not much science into it, would only go that way because I like having a smaller reel I can palm with my flip/pitch rig.

Master anglers?
I have a bluegill back from when I use to fish for anything that would bite. Also have one bass of many that I have registered.

another baitcaster
I agree with this statement right here. I bought a Scorpion last year and definately see more of them in my future. Great reels imo.

Your favorite brand for each lure type you use?
What is everyones favorite brand for each lure type they use? Thought it would be kind of interesting to see what everyone likes to use and which is most popular. If you want to go into more detail you can say the specific model also. I will start it off. Hardbaits-Rapala and Bomber in a tie, plan on giving Lucky Craft a try here soon. Heddon and Rebel when it comes to topwater. Soft Plastics-Yum Spinnerbaits/Buzzbaits-Terminator Jig- Custom(Gman)

Best loomis rod for a finesse setup?
Either baitcasting or spinning. Just basically looking for the best rod that would only be used for things such as dropshot, shakeyhead, etc. Probably with either 6 or 8 pound test.

Joining a club??
I can't tell you of clubs near Tampa but I know most clubs usually have a non-boaters part of it.

Thinking of buying a 1986 Champion...Yay or Nay?
Well the good news is that I was told the boat was covered when stored outside. I am working on setting up a time within the next few days to go take a look. Couple more pictures and yes cart7 the fender wells had rotted away like you said.

Thinking of buying a 1986 Champion...Yay or Nay?
I was able to get some pictures of the boat. I know you probably can't tell much from them but then again I may be wrong. I do have more pictures but these are the ones I decided to post up. It does look like the motor either leaks, or had an spillage/overflow problem.

Thinking of buying a 1986 Champion...Yay or Nay?
Ya I am trying to get ahold of the guy to ask some specifics about that but I haven't been able to get ahold of him yet.

Thinking of buying a 1986 Champion...Yay or Nay?
It looks similar to that one. Doesn't have the rails, or dual console on it. You definately have a nice looking boat there for its age. How is it as far as deck space and storage is? I am really worried about the 2 years that it sat outside as it makes it very possible and almost expected to have caused some rot in either the floor or transom. :-[

Thinking of buying a 1986 Champion...Yay or Nay?
I have been looking for a boat for a while now and it seems like its either I can't find one I want or don't have the money for it. I have come upon a 86' Champion that I am thinking about buying. It is an 18' model fiberglass with a 175 on it. Really just looking to get me off the land on a regular basis and start entering local tourny's, shouldn't have to worry about to big of waves since I am in Nebraska, so the 18' should suit me fine. I could probably get it for around $1800-$2000(Is this price to high or just right?). Has a trolling motor but no prop, and not much for other accessories. It would be a wintertime project as it needs new carpet, new gel coat, new paint on the trailer, and electrical switches in the console fixed. Guy said when he ran it last year it ran great, but didn't take it out this year. Now for the bad...It sat outside in the elements for two years before the current owner got it. Now how much do marines usually charge for compression checks and such? Also whats the best way to check and make sure the transom and floor and still nice and solid? I remember reading it but forgot. Could the marine also check that out for me while getting the compression check? Thanks and let me know if you think its a decent buy or not.

Sending in info. to sponsors...
When you send your resume to a sponsor, and you can't walk right in and "sell" yourself that way, what is the best approach? Sending it by e-mail or regular mail? If by regular mail do you put a letter along with it or just your resume in an envelope? If you send it in once and get turned down do you try sending in again at a later time or is it a one time deal mainly?

Sponsorship Do's & Don'ts
I would probably say Business Administration would be a good major for college if you want to look more appealling, as you have to take classes in all of the areas that she has listed off.

How are Stratos boats?('93 285 XL)
Now if everything checks out good what is a good price to pay? I have never really been good and marking all the right accessories when trying to go through NADA so figured I would probably get a better estimate from someone here Heres some of what it has...Evinrude Intruder 150, 74# Minkota TM, Garmin 250 depth finders, custom 3 and 4 blade props, 6" jackplate, custom cover and all new batteries. He is asking $7000 for it. Good price or not?

How are Stratos boats?('93 285 XL)
The problem was the FICHT engines. As long as it's not one of those you'll be alright. Stratos makes a fine boat. As with any boat of that age, you'll need to check for transom and floor rot. How do I find out if its a FICHT engine or not. Also what is the best way to check for floor rot? Thanks
