  1. When I throw musky 80lb braid and steel or 160# FC leaders I catch bass on big baits. When I throw bass, I catch musky. It happens. If in throwing big baits I go out with just being happy seeing a fish
  2. Pearl white 4" gulp smells like crap, dries out real easy. But on a 1/8oz jig head I've caught tons of walleyes. An a few bass here an there.
  3. Someone please quote me, does a co poly line have some sort of invisible element to it? I love my yo zuri 12#.
  4. My tournament mg is completely awesome. It works awesome for frogging and punching. Something about the handles and just the feel is awesome. Even though it only has magnetic braking it works just fine for me.
  5. That a 30$ baitcaster vs a 100$ one is rediculas. Buy something of quality not crap
  6. As for reels a like lews TP and my tournament MG in 7.1:1.. 50-65lb braid.
  7. 765 powell diesel rod or now ill try my new *** 7'3 Heavy rod. 1oz or 1.5oz tungsten weight. Bobber stop. Mustad ultra point grip pin hook 5/0 and of course MISSLE BAITS D BOMB!
  8. How small is the mini? The 7" isn't te mini?
  9. Fish for walleye !!!!! And if I'm bored ill fish for pike. I'm not much of a panfish but a lot of people do it!
  10. X2 I've been in the boat with a 52year old man with a 42" musky hooked to his arm by a 5/0 Treble. Thank goodness we had those cutters. They are a must I have 1 knipix and 1 off brand for backup. Do your self a favor and buy them
  11. I use the 2/0 strike king ones from Walmart. But I take the black tubing off and slide the hook on then put it over. I like my trailer hook to be free floating and moving. Just a confidence thing I guess.
  12. I don't know what it is, but I'd definitely throw it!!! Looks sweet!
  13. Trilene xt 15lb or yo zuri 12# is absolutely awesome for me. I don't use braid for spinnerbaits just cause it's a confidence thing. But if I were do id probably use 30# 832
  14. I love siebert jigs and I love jigs with rattles because I fish some dark water and it's a confidence booster. So I decided to get 15 jigs with rattle bands and thought they came with rattles, but they don't. I should have known... Now where do I get rattles to put in the bands?? Thanks TYG
  15. I have a white body with a like green stall slammer. But I really haven't had to much success with the color. I'm in northern Wisconsin, lots of really dark lakes but also a lot of almost really clear lakes. What's a good color I should get it painted?? Any ideas?
  16. This swimbait realm of bass fishing is crazy. All the lures look very similar to me but lots of people can pick them apart in a second. All crazy baits! Now te real question is: I live in Wisconsin with muskies everywhere, I love fishing for them, I have tons of F/c leaders from 80-160# and tons of steel leaders around 174#. Should I fish them with a leader or not?? I really wanna the this swimbait stuff
  17. So I just got a new Johnny Morris sig 2 reel. It has the deep and wider spool with the 6.x:1 gear ratio. What's the benifits of the larger spool? What does it give me? It honestly is the spool size of my curado 300e almost... Thanks TYG
  18. What are the positives and negatives of the skirt sizes? I'm on siebertoutdoors and under the storm series he says they're 66 strands compared to a normal brush jig with 55 strands? Is it really that big of a difference? What does the thicker skirt really do?? TYG
  19. Ahh shoot. Anyone know if bps is having a sales soon?
  20. Do these places usually have a thanksgiving sale? I've never really shopped much on them but I know of the labor day sales so was wondering if they'll do a thanksgiving/Black Friday one
  21. Was at wally world in a back isle and saw a bunch of packs of TK130's and other trokars for all 4.50 a pack, is it worth trying them? Will I really notice a difference for the better??
  22. Abu garcia Revo toro. I throw huge baits on these for musky and they hold up awesome.. Otherwise look into the abu garcia stx.
  23. But fishing a normal jig will still catch you fish in a murky body of water
  24. If your looking for more vibration or ways for the bass to find your jig look into rattles and or trailers with more action like a rage craw
  25. It's been 30 degrees the last few nights here in north Wisconsin. By all means it's fall!
