"BASS Madness" book review
Irishjig, Thought I would post a more elaborate reply to the book. Like I said, I thought it was a really good read. The one thing I kept in mind when it came to BASS and ESPN is that this is one guy's opinion. Think about it in terms of any company and how they run their business. There are alway's going to be people who say it should be run this way, and you should treat the employees this way. Either way, I really enjoyed the read and I learned alot about the history of the classic and bass fishing in general.

Tournament Fishing and Fast Boats
I've read that Skeet Reese would prefer to run a 17 or 18 foot boat, but due to the fact that these "pros" need to run so far it's tough for them to run a boat of this size. Whether this is true or not, who knows? I know Ike got stuck in his boat at one time and had to jump into another boat to finish the tournament for that day, would this have happened in a 16 footer with a 50 horse? Maybe, maybe not. In Skeet's case, I've read that he would prefer a smaller boat in order to fish some of the shallower back waters.

Buzzbait Poll
Nothing beats the excitment of fishing with a buzz bait. That was one of the first lures I ever used to get me hooked on bass fishing, so I have a ton of memories using them. But I have caught some of the biggest bass I've ever caught using buzz baits during the day time.

T-storms and bass fishing
I also agree with senko77 on this. Some of the best bass fishing i've ever had is during a light drizzle just before the storm really started. I have never caught a big one before a storm, but lots of fish.
