  1. For $129 u can't beat the Revo S. It's easily as smooth as my gen 2 sx was and casts a mile.
  2. The 10XD will be a staple out here on Douglas Lake. They had that big bass tourney this past may, and you had to go super deep to get the big ones. Wouldn't be surprised if that tourney didn't influence this lure's conception.
  3. I messed with one at BPS again today since all I hear on these boards how good they are. Something about Lew's reels that I really like, so I'm torn between the two. May wait for Xmas to pull the trigger on one.
  4. UV light is everywhere. You don't need bulbs to make this stuff work. UV penetrates water a lot deeper than you think.
  5. I've had a Fat Cat forever that I took out of the package YEARS ago but have never fished. Does anyone know what the diving depth is of these little cranks?
  6. Of the Chronarch line. I see they have a few different models. I'm thinking of getting one or a Lew's if I can find a nice lefty model.
  7. Is the 50E the best of the bunch?
  8. If it's got the Rage Tail name, I'll have to pick them up. I've failed to be disappointed with any baits in the RT line.
  9. The extra gear was due to a delay in getting my replacements. Mark said he would include extras for the delay. Don't expect this to be the norm unless they goof up and forget to send out your replacements. Great company.
  10. No sure what causes the issue with them separating at the line tie. I have 11 different RES not counting the 11 they sent me, and none of the others acquired this problem.
  11. Broomstick? Hardly. No issues with breakage with mine.
  12. I had an issue with 2 RES splitting down the middle by the line tie and here is how they took care of the issue. Thanks to Mark S. Copley for having the customers back.
  13. SK baits have horrible paint durability. I've got some Academy lures that have held up amazingly well, but most of my SK lures are chipped or peeling after very little use. SK needs to texture the lure before painting them so the paint will stick.
  14. Is the Ultra Soft more manageable than the regular? If so, why doesn't anyone just use that?
  15. A Lew's is in my future, but first they have to come out with some decent reels in a lefty.
  16. When will Shimano go with the bent handle and star like Abu? I played with a Chronarch today at BPS and they are smooth and very nice, but I just don't like the handle. They only had a righty model out and I use a lefty so it felt extra awkward to me.
  17. I wear neoprene gloves. Waterproof and keeps your hands warm. Not big and bulky so you can actually use your hands.
  18. Get some Strike King Red Eye Shad. I was like you, and wasn't really committed to throwing lipless cranks, but these really work great. They have a flutter when they fall that drive bass nuts. Cast them out, let them fall to your desired depth and then rip them on the retrieve and repeat.
  19. I'll probably go 10# too. 12# is what? .13 and 10# is .12?
  20. I think you have "drag" and "brakes" confused.
  21. So is this more manageable that P Line Fluoroclear?? I gotta pull the trigger on some new line soon, and I'm done with mono and have no need for braid.
  22. I've yet to take the plunge on Yo Zuri Hybrid, but I tried SpiderWire's EZ Fluoro and HATED that stuff. Total junk, with tons of memory. I'm getting to where I just can't stomach fishing with the sponge known as mono anymore. It's manageable, but plumps up way too much in an hour and hinders casting for me a bit. Not sure if I will try Yo Zuri or Pline Fluoroclear first...
