Nosy ramp guys
Looking through your stuff isn't right. A s far as sharing information goes, who cares. We are all out there having fun and trying to enjoy our limited time on the water. I'm sure someone helped every single one of us out when we started fishing. You hear all the time how fisherman are so nice and outdoors people awesome of the nicest people in the world yet as soon as soon as it comes to stuff like sharing information, that goes out the window. If i give some info to a guy and he does better than i do, more power to him and he is better than i am on that day....

~The Road to the Super Bowl 2016 & 2017~
He played very well last year with the worst receivers as far as drops go in the league. I was bummed when he was traded but who wouldn't take a first and as high as a second for him. He is in a system and situation that is perfect for him right now and has zero pressure on him. I hope he does well every week except week 7....

I Lose Fish On EWG Hooks
don't use them anymore then....seems like a simple solution to me. If something doesn't work for you and you have success using other equipment, then you should use what works for you.

~The Road to the Super Bowl 2016 & 2017~
In 3 games Bradford has: 990 Yards 70% completion rate 6td 0 Picks 2nd in passer rating... Thats a little better than serviceable in my eyes.

Zoom Z-Hog
I like he Z hog and it has been one of my top producers this year. I mainly use it texas rigged as a more subtle creature style bait. It is a beefy piece of plastic for sure.

Moderate action + braid for treblehooks?
that is what my cranking set up is, braid and a moderate action rod. I love the combo and it has done me very well over the past few seasons.

BPS's Johnny Morris on future of Cabela's Employees
time to update their resumes and get some applications out. The one advantage of staying on is many times there is at least a little severance package to help out.

~The Road to the Super Bowl 2016 & 2017~
i don't know, leading your team back to having the lead with a few minutes to play after being down by 2 TD is pretty good for any player let a lone a rookie. I also don't blame him for the 2 turnovers late. The first one is obvious but the second was on the WR combined with a really nice pick by the defense. If they win, it is great with the same numbers, since they lost it isn't I guess.

Fun Fluke Fishing!
i have caught fish using them in water temps from 34 up to 90+. they flat out work. There is a little bit of a learning curve of feeling bites but once you get that, you can catch fish on them year round in any type of water.

~The Road to the Super Bowl 2016 & 2017~
ugly game...surprising we even had a shot. The pass was fine and in the right position but Algholor gave up on his route and at this point, i would cut him. He has been regressing all season. The matthews fumble was bad too.... If the defense plays average in the first half we win that game. They came up huge in the second half really.

Just sayin'....- Few (of many) SOT Kayak Questions
Transportation should be no issue with a 6' bed. you can leave the tailgate down and throw it in there or get one of the bed extender deals and be fine. I haven't had to make any hooks changes. It is the same as if you were fishing seated but the angle is a little flatter since yo are closer to the water. It is easier to flip/pitch while standing but it can be done while seated. I rarely flip but i do pitch seated all the time or i also use a kind of underhand roll type cast as well. i've never had a boat with a rudder so i can't say it is needed but many swear by them. Really depends on the water you fish. Anchoring in current in a kayak is a risky proposition for those who aren't experienced in my opinion. It doesn't take much to get squirrely in current and using an anchor. I usually try and position myself and use eddies or beach the boat and wade if possible. I have used a drag chain with success though. Important thing is to have the anchor directly off the front or rear of the boat. Any anchoring off the side will not be pretty.- Close Encounters of the 4-Legged Kind
Fishing a small mountain stream in VA i was about 3-4 miles in. I was kneeling down getting set up to work the next pool and i see two black bear cubs probably 10-15 yards upstream. I didn't see the mama at first but about a minute later she came trudging along. They crossed the creek and kept going on their merry way and i kept on fishing. I wasn't really scared per se but it definitely made me think about what I would do if she decided she didn't want me near her or her cubs.- What are your favorite paddletail swimbaits?
i have been using the stankxbaitco damzel here lately and like it a lot. That really is the only one i use on a jig head though.- ATAK 120
They have for the 5 or so kayaks i have already bought from them lol- ATAK 120
I've been meaning to go by my kayak shop, appomattox river company, but just haven't done it yet. Maybe i'll head up there this weekend.- Bass Lake near Yosemite guides
Yosemite, like in california? If so, forget the fishing for bass and go after trout or better yet go on a guided climbing trip for day or "hike" the half dome cable trail.- Thinking about getting a kayak
do a search on this board and you will find some threads covering exactly what you want to know for the most part. here are some questions to consider: Sit on Top or Sit inside? Budget (don't forget to include PFD and paddle) Transportation of boat (rack, truck bed etc..) Type of water fished most often (be honest here and not what you think you will do) Propulsion method...Paddle, Pedal or motor those are the big ones to think about to me....after that it is about what you want in a kayak and for me a top notch seat and stability are high on my list as is a relatively flat deck area for fly fishing. there are a ton of good kayaks out there and i would bet that the used market will be flooded soon with people wanting the new models coming out. As far as fish finders go that is an entirely different topic lol- Bass Pro buys Cabelas
couple of things that are interesting to me. One is the Cabelas is a publicly held company while Bass Pro is not. The second is that Capital One is an arm of the deal and is going to be taking over Cabelas credit card which is currently being help by a local Nebraska bank. That Bank could be severely impacted or it could be a ply for Capital One to buy out that bank and expand it's footprint to the midwest which is a place that it currently doesn't have a foothold. As far as the products and the stores, I don't really care either way. They opened a Cabelas near me about 3 months ago and i have yet to step foot in the store. The local Bass Pro i go more to kill tie than anything. Pretty much anything i need I go about a mile from my house to the local tackle shop and buy whatever i need.- ATAK 120
yeah i agree. This was the first one i actually broke though. I'll probably just throw a zip tie on the track to stop it from sliding forward more. I didn't realize how nice it was to have it fixed till it was gone lol- ATAK 120
Seat fastening system sucks, i heard they changed it though. Not a big concern for me anymore because i have a trailer. Hatches can be leaky. Mine were fine for the first year but they do take on water while being stored but have yet to have an issue in actual use. it is heavy but it cruises well and i have no issue paddling 3+ MPH. I also broke a foot peg on mine a few trips ago and i wasn't even cranking on it or anything. Other than that, i really wouldn't change anything. It is a great boat and the first boat i have owned that after a season or two i wasn't jonesing for something new. - Close Encounters of the 4-Legged Kind
