  1. I have been known to register for playoff tickets in every city and then sell the tickets for a profit on eBay too....in 2009 that method paid for my tickets, hotel and spending money for me and the fiancée to go to Philly to see a playoff game Boston was always a top money maker too
  2. I am glad to see someone else calling RG a diva....living in VA now al li heard last year was how good RG was and he was the best and should be MVP. All i could say was he wasn't even the best rookie on his own team and he is a diva that will come down to earth. Then he had the nerve to say he doesn't need preseason games, come on dude you are pretty much a below average QB this year and will be again next year. Having their training camp here in Richmond we had a lot of local coverage and some of the stuff i heard RG say was pretty ridiculous. And by the way...the skins and cowboys both deserved the penalties they received. And since when does the league ever admit to doing anything wrong.
  3. I just don't get it how people's minds work....prayers go out to AP and his family.
  4. I always hated registering for tickets because they sold them so early and i felt like i was jinxing their chances.
  5. i have been out once since about the beginning of August. I started taking classes and have dedicated my time to that to make sure i do well and not just get by. I know it is temporary and only about 16 months so it isn't like there is no end in sight. I will most likely get out once a month or so if i can but if not I can deal with that.
  6. I am glad. I hate the giants.....Eagles fan here. And as far as fans go everyone has bad ones and as of late i think the San Fran/LA fans have taken the cake. The most fights I have ever seen was in FedEx field and that is multiple times i have gone there.......
  7. I am not really a fan or even like any of the teams that are left so it is more which team do i hate the least.
  8. Well i wanted the pirates but now that they are out I want the tigers since there is a local guy who pitches for them by the name of Verlander
  9. Basketball is definitely a lot rougher than people think. I played all through high school and college and saw many injuries ranging from your normal ankle breaks and sprains to ACL injuries to concussions to my own injury of injuring my back to the point it sitll bothers me today and i don't really play anymore. The positive aspects of the game far outweigh the negatives in my mind and that goes for any sport. I would rather have a few bumps and bruises than become a vegetable or an "active" gamer. In football they are teaching a lot more of how to tackle correctly with your head up with various drills and the like. The changing of how people hit isn't going to change overnight.
  10. My son can play whatever he wants at whatever age he wants. I will also agree that soccer has more propensity for injuries.
  11. Good points. I caught one Jack on a charter trip down in Florida a few years ago and have been wanting to tangle with them ever since. Never had a fish fight so hard other than a tuna i caught once.
  12. Conventional tackle i prefer one piece probably more from a mental standpoint because i feel like it is stronger and more sensitive. Fly fishing i have 2 piece and 4 piece rods. I have broken my fair share and i can say that not one was ever broken at the ferrule.
  13. Survival of the fittest does not mean they have to be large it just means in their small eco system they are the luckiest first and strongest second and smartest third. Easiest way to tell would be to use one of those bluegills for bait and chuck it out there and see what happens. If there is a big girl in there she will hit it eventually. The other way to go about it is to go out at dusk or dawn and chuck a big topwater like a jitterbug. They seem to bring the big girls out to play more often than any other lure i have thrown.
  14. The difference between the premier and the mojo is nothing more than the full cork handle rather than the split grip and the associated reel seat and being made in the USA. All other components are the same. Personally i would either look for a used Avid or save a few more dollars and get a rage series which is the same blank as the avid for a few bucks less.
  15. So i looked it up and I couldn't find a standard definition but the gist of it all was basically if they are targeted for sport then they are a game fish. So i would think bowfin have enough of a following to be labeled a game fish.
  16. Start fly fishing then you will be ecstatic at spendign only $50....
  17. I wouldn't worry to much but if you are worried contact the three major credit agencies and have them put a fraud flag on your account. What this does is it doesn't allow anybody to apply for pretty much anything without it triggering either a fail or a call from wherever they are applying. The other thing to remember is if you are under 18 you cannot get a credit card or a loan or a bank account for that matter without being 18 or having an adult on the account as well. Most banks if they see a minor account with an adult that doesn't have the same address or last name it will throw up a flag for further research. They will then proceed to do a bunch of research to validate who you are using a bunch of tools that the public do not have access to. Overall i wouldn't worry to much but you can always join up creditkarma.com or creditsesame.com and they will keep you notified of any new accounts being applied for in your name. Hopefully it turns up and you don't have to worry about it
  18. If you are looking for more info check out www.riversmallies.com Those guys fish there a lot and the search function will be your friend. They are very protective of their river and usually don't just chuck out info but there is always a ton of info out there already....oh and don't be surprised if you get razzed a little bit but it is mostly good natured locker room type ripping I have never fished that stretch so i can't comment as i usually fish the areas 20+ miles or so upriver from harrisburg and i am in my kayak or my dad's jetboat.
  19. Swimming flukes don't take to nose hooking like the standards. For the swimming go with a jig head or a screw lock weighted EWG hook texposed.
  20. Yeah it seems like computer people like PC because they can modify and do whatever they want to the systems where apple people aren't as concerned with modification.
  21. Bowfin are one of the most highly underrated game fish out there.....still trying to get one on the fly rod
  22. Yes, Pickerel will hit pretty much anything you throw but if you are using one of the fancy expensive ones be sure to use a bite leader of some sort or you just might cry as you watch a 16" pickerel swim away with your high dollar swimbait in his mouth
  23. Easiest way to catch a pickerel is to tie on your most expensive bait and fish it fast....they like the expensive ones the most Also if you are targeting them investing in a bite leader or some heavy mono will help prevent some bite offs. I know they can bite through braid like it isn't even there.
  24. I was able to get the microsoft office version for Mac through my work for a ridiculously low price so hopefully it works as well as i have heard.
