Chiefs are the real deal....winning close games and that defense even on an off day like today is still pretty good.

"v" Shapes Moving On The Surface?
It is most likely bugs on the surface zipping around. Sometimes they are small ones that are hard to see but if you have a fine mesh net you could probably catch them and see what they are .

Rod And Reel Trade In At Bps?

Any Baseball Fans?
it was a legitimate call and made appropriately. And if you watch the play he slid in, the throw was missed and he got up and stumbled over middlebrooks. The call is pretty easy actually and should be made regardless of the situation of the play. As far as the hit by pitch call on Beltran it is never called if a batter doesn't move out of the way but it is called if they lean in to the pitch, which he didn't do.

Columbia Vs. North Face
What type of gear? Are we talking jackets, rain pants or sportswear, base layer fleece etc... I am not a fan of columbia for their fit as it is to boxy for me. I prefer a more tailored fit as it allows better movement and also assists in the performance of the garment. The quality of The North Face is better than columbia but not by much as you are buying the name as much as anything. I have a few columbia sportswear items i have bought on sale but other than that I am going with ArcTeryx, Patagonia, Mountain Hardwear and marmot for the majority of items. Be sure to frequent www.sierratradingpost.com as they have a ton of great deals on closeouts of top of the line gear.

Favorite Style Of Pizza
I cannot stand Bottom's up pizza myself but i also don't like the casserole pizza. Best around here for NY style is Mimmo's off pole green. We get it at lest once a week.

12Ft Jon Boat Vs Coosa Kayak
Honestly they are completely different boats with different uses. You can pretty much fish a kayak anywhere but the longer the paddle the more a motor would be nice. On a river i like having a kayak because of the maneuverability but you are limited to spot hits or setting up a shuttle or doing a paddle up and float back type trip. if you fish mainly flat water there are better kayaks than the coosa that will still perform well in the river. I used to stand in my coosa but with the raised seat position it isn't as necessary as you would think. And as far as setting the hook and landing a fish goes it isn't a problem to do from a standing position. I have been floating down a river while standing and caught plenty of fish on my fly rod which entails substantially more movement than a traditional casting technique.

Soda Spilled On My Reels!
Google PH levels of substances not just one ingredient. Not trying to get into a scientific debate here but the acidity level of soda is about the same as OJ and you can leave a piece of steel in a cup of soda for a long time and it will never eat through it. The sugar and sticky factor is way more detrimental than the acidity.

12Ft Jon Boat Vs Coosa Kayak
First of all where are you fishing? The coosa is designed for rivers and the places i took mine you couldn't get any type of jon boat in there at all. As far as comfort goes it is all relative. You obviously have to paddle the coosa so that could be uncomfortable but the seat is top notch and as nice as anything i have sat in on a jon boat.

Any Other Apbt Owners?
Beautiful dog. Never owned one but i wouldn't hesitate to get one. I had an english bulldog that was super aggressive towards people, turned out it had a thyroid condition. The vet who we took him too specialized in the breed and said he could count on one hand the number bullies with no health issues and those who were aggressive and we lucked out and had both in one dog The turning point for us was when he went after my now ex wife....guess he was abetter judge of character than I was at the time.....

Anyone Ever Try "ripping" Jigs For Bass?
I saw Doug Stange use that technique with some sort of lipless rapala crank bait for smallies on the In-Fisherman show. He was really ripping it too, almost looked like he was setting the hook with each rip. Of course he was catching fish too

Soda Spilled On My Reels!
Soda is not corrosive as previously stated but it is sticky and can gum up internals if they got that deep in there. Follow DVT's advice and you will be fine.

Am I Missing Something?
I am not sure why you being a bank fisherman necessitates the need for a snap though. Tying a knot takes about 30 seconds and in the case of a palomar about 8" of line. I would also guess that manufacturing a R bend type spinnerbait is much easier and cheaper and as others pointed out, easier to run true.

Which Is The Bigger Feed Up.....debate Inside.
Post spawn for me too. They aren't as easy to find but when you do they are easier to catch in my experience.

Pro Combos
Guys put their names on rods and reels that are generally marketed towards the beginner fisherman, not the seasoned veteran. While they may not be great they are a step up from your standard wally world special. My first baitcaster was a bill dance combo, i caught a bunch of fish on it and when i upgraded to a citica and mojo bass i had no idea how crappy the combo really was. Point is it gets people into fishing and most won't know any better.

Who Needs A Bass Buster When There Are These!
Not sure of the dimensions but it does state it is a 14' boat motor and trailer combo so i would guess the boat to be 12' or so maybe?

Who Needs A Bass Buster When There Are These!
Well.....interesting but kind of crazy. I could see maybe having them as fleet boats on a small lake somewhere or something but i don't get the purpose really. I think i would go with a twin troller instead for less money. Also with the tandem trailer i believe here in VA you have to pay personal property tax on the trailer but not if it was a single axle.

Alligators And Kayaks
I don't fish in gator infested waters but i have also never heard or read of a person dying from an alligator attack in a kayak either. Honestly it seems like you are being a little extreme with the whole thing. Bolting plywood to a jon boat just seems crazy to me to prevent an attack that your percentages are probably better to get struck by lightning. personally if i was as worried as you are I would get a gun and be done with it. And every time i watch that video it cracks sme up but i guess the lesson or lessons to be learned are 1-don't kayak with a dog that a gator can eat and B-don't get a dog that can be gator bait.
