the fish will probably be deep, or under cover. i'm not a pro but from the threads i've read and just knowing how bass, or fish in general, act when it's cold, i would say it won't be like either fall or summer, their going to be deeper than any other time of the year.

I didn't want to sit up all night watching and keep hearing about Gerald Swindle getting DQed...once would have been enough. Very poor coverage...kind of boring Beside when people were catching fish...

It will not help at all...unless like the other guys have stated, you are sinking. The boyancy of the boat is already determined by it's size...you can not change that.

hey guys, i was roaming through walmart last night and decided to check out the fishing stuff. The whole section was on clearance and they had a couple fish finders. I bought a small jon boat last year and have been wanting just a basic fish finder and i came across this one for $30... so i was looking through the manual and figured out where to mount the sensor on the transom, but i didn't know where the most convienant location would be for the display screen. here is my boat.... Where should i mount the display? Thanks

I went to a local marina, and the dude there really had no idea what i was talking about. He tried to sell me sailboat paint that was $190/gallon. I told him i would "look around". I'm not painting it because it leaks...i'm painting it to make sure that it doesn't leak once i get the floors in.

Anyone know what kind of sealer there is out there that you can "paint" on the inside of an aluminum jon boat? I really would like to stay away from rhino lining. The boat already has a white/gray coating of something on the inside...Any ideas?
