My Local Bait Shop
I have a place near me, I really wouldn't call it a bait shop but it's a family owned sporting goods store that sells live bait as well as lures and gear, for the most part they are competivitive wth Walmart. 1/2 mile away, and BPS & Cabelias. They have a good assortment and I try to buy there when I can. They have always been friendly and helpful and I've never had the feeling that I was being watched or wasn't wanted there. It's so close sometimes I just got there and browse for something to do. There are people that think everyone is out to get them and don't trust anybody, so TJ I wouldn't take it personally, I am like you though I wouldn't like being watched every minute I was in a place and might consider spending my money somewhere that it was appreciated.

Need A Portable Graph
They make units that are portable and have suction cups to how the transducer to the boat. I would think that almost any unit could be made to be portable by using a small gel cell battery or run it off the TM battery. There are several possibilities for mounting the transducer, a bracket with a couple of big suction cups, or a c-clamp with a piece on it for the transducer, maybe a spring clamp. Like someone else said mount the head unit on a board to hold it upright, I did this while I was trying to decide where I wanted to mount my front unit. For the graph itself I would get the best one my budget could afford. Look around and mayebe pick up a used one from someone upgranding.

St. Louis Area Fishermen
He would have lived there then, when you drove in and stayed to the left his house was the last one on the hill to the right just before the turn and where the road went to the left across the creek. It was his wife's parents house and the only place she ever lived. My grandparents house was on Margret Drive across the creek second house from the end on the left, my sister lives there now. Are you on Ozark Anglers forum too?

St. Louis Area Fishermen
Small world, met a person on another forum that lives in Timber Ridge off Golda. My grandparents build their house in MM back when I was 9, so I have been around this area for a long time. I have lived here myself for 28 years. If you lived in MM I guess you know Artie Hoffmann
