I use a dobyns champion 733, shimano curado 201i and 60 sunline fx2 braid. I throw braid because I like to rip chatterbaits out of weeds.

While flipping I had reeled in and when the bait left the water I had a 4lber jump out and smash it.

Topwater or wake baits

i use the ABT. Personally i like the action of the bait and it definately catches fish.

I have 2 ricos in the #532 rayburn red color. Can anyone give me any info about them whether its a sought after color or how rare they are. Ive been told this color has been discontinued.

I've broken 60lb braid pulling fish put of pennywort and hyacinth. That's why I went to 80lb. Not fun losing $10 worth of tungsten and a 5+lb fish at the same time.

They aren't expensive just because people will buy them. They are expensive because they take 12+ hours to produce each one by hand. They are tuned to perfection as well.

Fishing a jerkbait in the middle of winter I had a coot nail it on the pause. Thought I had a 7lber on when it hit. It was a great fight especially on 6lb test

I really like using my megabass orochi x4 destruction for frogs and it's the best I've used so far.

1.5 ounces of tungsten makes a nice hole in the side of a fiberglass boat, even worse is when a sharp miller punching weight comes flying at you. Not fun....

I lost an 8lber when I swung it up a 4 foot bank because I was too lazy to walk down and proceeded to lose a 6lber the following week next to the boat

I've been told the zayta wasn't coming out until late this year or early next. I got to hold the new zaytas and they are the best thing I've ever felt.

TNT baits jigs are the only ones I use but California Reservoir Lures make a pretty nice jig as well.
