  1. x2Other than that I love it, looks good.
  2. Really good numbers, I'm really impressed with everything you log. When I'm out on the water I can hardly think to do that kind of stuff. I should really start though!
  3. Those are some really good-looking jigs, can't wait to get my mitts on some
  4. I do this just about everytime I go fishing. Sometimes I bring a tackle box and another rod but I'm down to one rod and bank fishing lugging around my tackle box isn't the most fun. So most times I just tie on a lure and head out or grab a bag of plastics!
  5. I've lived in the same house for going on 7 years. The houses over here are probably 10 feet apart. Literally, I have never spoken to any of my neighbors. I've tried saying hi but people around here like to keep to themselves I guess
  6. Congrats man, good luck!
  7. That's a great lookin fish, nice catch!
  8. Yeah I've tried from the shore of St. Claire, its a great lake just the shore access is all of 50 yds. Almost got a trout on an x rap when I was there though But at Waughop if you park inside fort steilacoom park and you follow the path to the right just keep looking at the water and when you see a little beach looking area with a well beaten path walk down there. I've got a couple of bass there if you cast straight out off the point. I was using a Strike King Spinnerbait in chartreuse with a small colorado leaf and a large willow leaf. The other spots that I've caught fish in past months are on the left path. You can see the stump of a laydown and there are a lot of thorns around it. I climb up there and toss a drop shot. Then if you walk down a little farther you can walk out on these logs, you'll know em when you see em and just fan cast every where there.
  9. Welcome to the community!
  10. I carved an angler fish with my girlfriend, I'll get a picture up of it here in the next few days. But that's a mighty fine lookin frankenstein!
  11. I'll be in next year for sure! Great idea for the community
  12. This was probably entirely my fault for not being more cautious but I was heading to a beach spot to meet up with a couple friends and the only way to their beach was across a path with rocks stacked up beside it. When I started heading toward their beach about a mile and a half away the tide wasn't too high and hadn't even reached the rocks yet. Before I knew it I was pinned between the rising tide and the sticker bushes at the top of the rocks. I climbed across and even fell in the ocean a few times before reaching the other beach to meet up with my friends.

    What a hawg!!
  14. I'll have to plan a trip down there here soon. And invest in a small boat... ha. Thanks for the help Glenn, its nice to hear from an angler around here
  15. Thanks a lot for the link and advice. I'll have to get back out on the water once the weather allows
  16. Recently I've been fishing Lake Waughop and American Lake for the most part. American Lake is HUGE and shore access is minimal but I found a few nice coves on base and thought that they might produce a few fish. The other lake, Waughop I've been fishing since toward the end of summer and have caught a few good bass including my pb, I've just been having trouble finding them lately. I would go out to the Lacey area and try lakes like Long, St Claire, and Hicks but again, shore access is minimal.
  17. I'd say I'm still a kid in pretty much every aspect of the word. Yes I go to college, yes i do support myself finanically etc, etc. But I make my money by playing semi-professional soccer and barely scrape by. I go to classes 4 out of 5 days of the week and tend to go fishing at least 3 times during any given week. I've been saving to buy a new set-up for quite some time now. I have adult-like responsibilities, but I pretty much live my life like a kid. Making bad decisions and just doing what I generally want to do.
  18. my friend was really into the lucid dreams a while back and got me to try it successfully a few times. Just lay in the dark in your bed as you rest just really focus on how comfortable you are and how sleeping you're getting, before you know it you'll fall asleep and be in a dream but doing that will make it easier for you to realize you're in one apparently. I never got too crazy into it cause I honestly didn't like it but it was definitely an experience i won't forget.
  19. So, I've been beating the banks around my area in Washington with very little to no success as of late. 6 trips out for at least 2 hours have produced 3 fish all caught on spinners near fallen trees. But that doesn't seem to consistently work so I'm stumped. I try slowing it down and throwing some soft plastics and even jigs at em. I've tried top water early in the mornings and I've tried d**n near everything. I do realize that the lakes I've been fishing may not be the best but I feel I should be catching at least a few more. Any information about how the bass react to these heavy rains/weather around here would be very helpful and just any tips in general would be really appreciated!
  20. that would do you fine! Look forward to seein ya on the water around here
  21. I'm relatively new but I'd love to be able to learn and get out on the water with someone. My friends left for college a little ago and I've been fishing alone for a while! I live in Pierce County and it might surprise you, but my name's Dave. Haha I'm a 19 year old kid but I love bassing just as much as the next guy! Let me know if you're interested via PM, thanks for your time
  22. That aside I fully support the seahawks. hahaha
  23. They have some good lakes in the Olympia area as long as you have a boat! Not much in the way of shore fishing around here
  24. I'm a new angler here from Washington. Just a kid with a love for fishing! I've been salmon/trout fishing for most of my life but only started looking for bass a few months ago. I've been lurking for a few weeks around here now and I love whats going on, its awesome to be able to read through all the knowledge. Thanks for what you guys do, can't wait to be a part of it!
