  1. I went to La Cygne yesterday 730-1300. No power was being generated and the outlet was a whopping 46. I managed to catch a few bass and crappie all on the northern side. Mainly used a drop shot worm really slow, however I did catch the crappie on a moving crankbait.
  2. I ended up going out to melvern yesterday getting there at 9am. Fishing was rough with the high winds and white caps. I stayed on the south side till 3:30 catching 3-4 per hour. Cranks/ned/jerkbaits nothing particularly ruled the day. Mostly looking like this: http://s48.photobucket.com/user/RJ_986/media/20141110_135719_resized_zps3dd7c211.jpg.html http://s48.photobucket.com/user/RJ_986/media/20141110_153117_resized_zps456cf87f.jpg.html The wind lightened up considerably 330-530 turning on the fish and allowing me to fish the dam/north sides . The dam produced a mixed bag of 30 whites/smallies. Biggest of the day was a 4lb1oz smallmouth. http://s48.photobucket.com/user/RJ_986/media/20141110_163822_resized_zpsf860e766.jpg.html http://s48.photobucket.com/user/RJ_986/media/20141110_163735_resized_zps610d5523.jpg.html It was great to get out after two months off the water (baby/moving).
  3. I have an empty back seat tommorrow if anyone is interested. Probably melvern or la cynge.
  4. I have an empty backseat tommorrow for Olathe. Shoot me a PM.
  5. Heres a video of the Cottonwood Cabin at Perry to get an idea of space. www.youtube.com/watch?v=HaVpOF9BwqQ Ive stayed there with couples on the bed and futon and three people in sleeping bags (upper area). Three of the four cabins are all the same with the exception of the handicap one does not have the upper area .
  6. I agree, yesterday's weather was a great day to be out. My digital scale makes me want to throw it overboard sometimes. That largemouth was 19.5inchs, 1.71 Kg = 3.76 pounds thanks to a google conversion. It was my biggest of the day. Perry produced most my fish off of the east and west bridge. I soaked the Ned rig and a shad colored crankbait the most. I caught somewhere near 15 smallmouth. On average they looked like this: I was the drum slayer of they day 10+ dork fishes .
  7. I was thinking about getting out tommorrow while work is slow. Anyone want a back seat spot? I can be persuaded to perry or melvern especially if other members are there.
  8. Put me on the list with a partener.
  9. Congrats on your achievement
  10. I thought you had the biggest fish Clayton. Mine was just over 3lbs (3.06lbs). However, Sizzle was convinced my scale was weighing his fish light, maybe mine too?
  11. I'm a possible for the 20th depending on the weather. I can go as a non-boater or a boater if my boat trailer tagged. I sure do love my liberal leave policy at work.
  12. I went out to melvern saturday mostly to check out my boat after some maintence. I only managed a few whites scattered on the windy south side 2-6 pm.
  13. I certainly classify as a lurker, however this 10x. When I do get time to go out my 2-3 fish grind is hardly anything to boast about. I recently bought a fish and ski so I hope to get out more! If you see a newbie at the boat ramp it might be me. Stop and say hi!
  14. Here's an link about it from Dec 19, 2012: http://www.bizjournals.com/kansascity/news/2012/12/19/olathe-scores-academy-sports.html
