This is my stepson's and my collection. The top is a Revo3 SX that is just got from my wife as a gift. It's on a 7' med fast carbonlite rod. 2nd rod is a bass pro carbon black reel on a 7' MH rod. Then an old school Abu mag plus reel (date code says '89) on some 5'6" "crankin stick" that I'm assuming is from the same time. Then a cheap Walmart Shakespeare spinning rig that I use for car fishing. My sons cat pole. Then a bill dance crappie rod/reel. The old Abu reel I got from my father in law. Said he bought it new, tried to cast it twice, and it's been in his closet ever since.

Hello! My name is Robert and I'm a Navy vet currently going to school in KC. I've been fishing off and on almost all my life. Both my father and step father fished. One for bass, one for cats. I did some salt water fishing while I was in the Navy. I've just recently taken up bass fishing seriously as a hobby. I would like to fish in a tournament or two some day.

Richard, which lake have you been fishing at James A Reed? I've been fishing jackrabbit. I don't catch a lot of fish there, but I consistently catch fish. Especially in the evening during the summer.
