  1. As others have said, great swimjig trailer.
  2. Here...we....go...again
  3. Full paca's have the hollow body. Great bait but not so much for a jig trailer. I usually want a craw 3.5-4". You can always bite a bit off if they are short striking, but most times I leave them full length.
  4. Super Duty is great for techniques when you need power. Frogging, big jigs, swimbaits, pitching/flipping, etc.
  5. Havoc Craw Fatty 7" power worm Brush hog
  6. Zoom super fluke. Cheap and good color selection
  7. Shark fishing clearly.. I was wondering the same 25lb is overkill for that weight. 3oz+ baits yup but not 3/4.
  8. Nice job man. Catching fish is good, catching fish on homegrown baits is even better.
  9. 15-20lb mono or 50lb braid.
  10. Enjoy the new sticks and the open water! I'd kill to be on my boat this weekend.
  11. Tossing swimbaits. For those of you who said jigs, put in the time learning them. You won't regret it and the increase in quality fish will be worth the effort.
  12. Jigs, swimbaits, frogs
  13. Beautiful fish! Congrats

I picked one up this year. No more getting burnt for this guy.
  15. *** Wicked Ice 25" L, Eagle claw inline 2:6:1, 2lb fluoro, and a Chekai tungsten jig tipped with a wax worm.
  16. Lots of kids grow up dreaming of being a star athlete. Some of them are great in high school, some of those good enough to play college ball, and very few of those are good enough to go pro. Dreams turn into reality for many. It takes a different breed to be at an elite level regardless of sport. You still have to be at the top to succeed and that takes more than time and money. If a person puts in the time and effort to gain that skill level than chase those dreams. I think many people don't chase that dream because either they don't have the funds, have other obligations/not enough time, or they realize that they simply are not good enough to compete. Mitch gets the motivational star and I get the Debi Downer star. I'm not trying to tell people to sell themselves short. I believe in setting goals, having dreams, and trying your best everyday to achieve them. If you want it bad enough go get it. Fishing is one of those sports that you don't have to have certain genetics, body type, physical attributes, etc to be successful like many other sports. But I also think its wise to be realistic of your skill level and not chase that dream simply because you have the time and money. I think you'd be disappointed in your results and find that the pros enjoy taking your entry fees.
  17. Just seen a guy post a 9.2lber from AZ caught on a Deps. Like Speed said there are a bunch of guys from your state chucking big baits and catching pigs. Most lures are built to catch fisherman, lots of action and flash. Many of the big swimbaits that produce consistently will make most fisherman say MEH but they're appealing to the fish. Maybe because it's a big easy meal? Who really knows but they work.
  18. light t-rigged craw bait, senko, and jig. Going to throw bluegill swimbaits (Mattlures U2) a lot this year and they seem very promising.
