  8. Jig and craw trailer if its not matted weeds. For mats a beaver style bait with a punch skirt.
  9. Since the question doesn't state that I made the wish I would make that cast right after I turned the GoPro on. He's just telling you how awesome you are.
  10. ^^ What Grantman said. If you don't use leaders than use it for backing.
  11. This topic just seems odd coming from a man who makes baits. That is all.
  12. I also use the same knot that Bub Tosh shows in the link Frog Turds has provided. I started tying it shortly after that video came out and have never had an issue. My hook up percentages increased enough for me to keep tying it.
  13. Thanks for the response Hooligan. What sink rate did you get and can you compare it to a hudd rof?
  14. I live in MN, I love bass fishing = bassman, and 23 is my favorite #. ww2farmer is a farmer I know that. Ww2? I always assumed you had a family member in ww2 or your name was William Wilbert the 2nd. If I'm correct I hope it's for the first guess.
  15. You have a spare bedroom? Help a brother out!
  16. As others have said BTD is slower and their stock can be disappointing, but they do have some great sales. I've gotten a few rods, reels, and more "general" tackle and never had an issue. I've called them after a long delay in shipping a reel (after a big sale) and the guys there were cool to talk with.
  17. S-waver 200 would be good bigger bait option when they start selling them again. Basshole gave you good info comparing the s-waver and glide swimmer.
  18. At this rate we'll be lucky if the ice is off by the end of April.
  19. What style did you get? Floater, slow sink, fast sink? You want to fish them in high percentage areas were you know bass live, specifically big bass. Try different retrieves until you get bit. That's why it's important to know that there are fish present. A general rule of thumb is if you think your fishing slow then fish slower. A slow steady retrieve is probably the most popular, but not always the key to landing fish.
  20. I'd like to know as well. Everything I've read up until now had been positive. There is a guy on another forum tearing them up on this bait and it's holding up well.
  21. Sorry for your loss buddy. It's never easy losing a loyal friend and family member.
  22. Good meal right there. My father-in-law makes homemade spicy tomato juice and pickle spears with garlic. Bloody Mary heaven when I visit him.
  23. DId you tell her to grab some salt while she was at Walmart? Hope the lady gets well soon.
