  19. I did, no problems. also try Norman speed clips.
  20. stay in the cuts, don't venture to far toward the grass beds and you should be ok. pay attention to the canal leading out, gets a lot of traffic. keep your speed down.no reason to be flying around there hauling butt. only 10,000 acres so you can fish quite a bit in a couple days. good luck. also there are only 36 boat parking spots.so if you don't get there early you have to park down by the stick marsh.they won't let you park on the side of the dirt road, narrow anyway.about 1 mile hike. had to do it a couple times already.no big deal.
  21. word got out real quick...................yesterday it was overflowed with boats.ended up in the Stick marsh... mostly dark colored swimbaits, manns baby 1-,hard jerkbaits(worked fast) devils horse also. early morning seems to be great for Traps also.
  22. some of you out there might be aware of the new Headwaters lake in central Fl. right next to the Stick Marsh.it has been open to powerboats for the last 2 weeks now. all I gotta say is WOWWWWWW!!!!!!! I had fished it before out of a kayak and had a really great day. now being able to go further and explore more areas it is out of this world. of course it has been packed to get a parking spot.been getting to the ramp 2 hours or more before daylight has been normal. but losing a little sleep has been worth it. 4 trips in a week and never caught less than 100 in a 5-6 hour trip. not any double digit fish(yet) but have 6 over 8. the only issue is when someone sees you get on em. they're on you. at least most everyone is giving space to everyone else.that and this bloody heat.
